Oh dimming objects would also be a really great feature!! Man that'd be nice.

Oh I see! Thanks! I'll finish those up now.
I am bumping this because all of this is missing in my current game (started in 1.3 and I am on 1.41 now). Games I played with previous patches had these items and they're nowhere to be found. I finished researching beyond mortality probably 100 or more turns ago but just got around to designing new ships.
I'm liking all of the ideas posted so far! I would love cloaking tech Here's some other tech ideas: The ability to research and build a dyson sphere around a star rather than a research capital A tech tree for espionage Solar System destroying tech like in GalCivII, but faster Tech to convert your race to synthetic or biological Tech to reclaim dead worlds Bio/tech virus engineering to spread throughout and
I searched and I didn't see anything for the word "overlay" in here. I'd like the ability to draw graphical overlays on the map such as colored transparent circles, lines and arrows. It might just be overly complex for a game but I always play Insane maps with a lot of races and oftentimes I lose things such as planets with big manufacturing boosts, my capitals etc. I also like to scope out enemy planets before invasions and it'd be nice to not have to re-check them e
It happens in all of my games. Even from 1.3 to 1.41 - Some of the races doing it are my allies as well.
It's happened again and I think I know what triggers it now. I invade and take over a planet (Yor) and then keep my ships parked there. There are plenty of Yor ships within distance so when I hit the next turn button they attack and it's at that point the bug starts happening if I do a quick battle. It also turns out the weapons my ships shoot start from the other corner of the map where the Yor weapons end.
I am currently playing an insane sized map and am at turn 670. If I choose quick battle The beams, drivers and missiles shoot through the ships and all the way across the map very slowly. The battle isn't over until all projectiles are gone. This game was started in the last 1.3whatever version and I am now on 1.41 EDIT: Only happened for 5-6 battles before I wised up and chose to view a battle. Now it's not happening anymore.
[e digicons]:D[/e] I was also able to reproduce this. First I offered Thulium Catalyst in return for 60bc and one of their small ships, it was generous. Then I added Defense Systems on my side and 1327150bc per week on their end and they said "Excellent, we will gladly take this offer". I was also able to type in a ridiculous number and it defaulted to a huge negative weekly payout on their end and I was broke the next turn because they were paying me a negative amount of millions of
I just came here to laugh at all of the whiners and man was it worth it! Oh yeah I also wanted to say, great work, Stardock!!
[e digicons][/e] i screw this up all the time too. Stuff hasn't been in megs for what 30 yrs?
30 Years ago was kilobytes.
To add a little more - I'm playing on the largest map size and am currently at turn 631 with everything researched plus all of the additional tech I can purchase from other civs. Around turn 200 the shipyards and designer showed every single version of each built in ship so I had to mark a ton of them obsolete and somehow up to the end of the tech tree older ship version names would show up and have the same stats/builds as the latest versions. Now I have complete lines of ships that are
I too have the same bugs in the current steam non-beta version. I cannot see anything the Krynn have in the trading window and haven't been able to since I started building the fleet I am about to talk of next. I built a fleet (25 ships) with 23,100 missile attack 220 missile defense, 1152 kinetic attack, and 6768 kinetic defense. Logistics are 54/55 and moves up to 49. While building this fleet my military power was all over and is now 0. I do have The Bane on all of the ships an
