I have started playing again and the Pirates are the biggest problem not the other factions. I wish i knew how to turn thier STR down a bit and increase thier exp again so at least if you do fight them you can gain some much needed XP for you Capital Ships. Yes i know i can turn them off but i hate doing that because they can be a really good part of the game but as they are now they are a bit to strong and not worth killing for thier worthless exp.

I will just add that one of my games on this build i got a nice shock. (No Idea what tech or ability choice caused them to show up) I was out for a long time looking around the map and then ported back to my town and Then i checked out the store it had a brown or black Horse and a white/silver or black Warg (think it was a Warg) It looked like a big wolf I bought one and rode around the map for some time on it before i got myself killed. When i appeared at town the warg was still

Having Paid for them I would like to see them respawn at your capital city after X number of turns or X number of minutes. Could easily have popup text with some minor story about after getting blah blah from a XXXX and then studying blah blah text/scroll/stars in the sky your faithful familiar lives again.

Yeah the more i play the less i like it as it currently is. Really kicks a mage in the behind for trying to be powerful. Essence loss as it is now is way to much for a mage. If they could somehow put it on a timer where after a set amount of time you regain that loss Essence it would be much better.

Some buildings restore Mana and some npc's have a skill to as well. More powerfull spells also cause a permanent loss of Essence when they are cast. Sommuning Minor Elenentals i think does. Restoring land losses 5 each time you cast it. The spell that summons Gardens does as well i think. If you loss a battle you will also lose 1 essence permanently.

I wonder if it would be possible to have a Name Theme when creating your faction. You pick one of two possiblities All names end/start with " XXXX " Ex you want your faction to honour your Sovereign thus all names end with a variation of "san" after the Mighty Sovereign Thynlisan Variatons might include about anything though san, sain, sana, siana, sano, sanio, sani etc etc or what about having a list you add to the game of names fir

Monsters attacking each other makes sense as few animals will let a rival set up camp to close. While a smart monster might leave lesser monsters alone as a kind of buffer. Oh crazy thought but what of a war lord monster a very smart monster who has formed a war party with lesser monsters for an attack somewhere? The idea of monsters spawning later in the game is a great idea. Something for your Teenager to go off and kill and thus proving his worth etc etc

MOO3 and Spore where so bad and so far from what they could have been. Infact after Spore i have not bought another PC outside of Impulse. I have vowed i will not step foot inside another gaming store unless it is for a Wii game. ps MOO2 is one of my all time favorite games. I still have the game and manual and have from time to time reinstalled it for a bit of fun.

I have seen this in most of my games. I never remember to check the age but I always thought they where the child of the Old Sovereign. The stats are just like anyone elses by that i mean random as far as i can tell.

I can't for the life of me figure out what to do with the sovereigns kids i collect after i beat that empire. Since they are not my flesh and blood and i can't marry them to mine (not that i have found out how to if you can) I send them to cities to help out or if they are warrior types i keep them with me since they are expendable at least for now. I use to love taking my queen with me for many years to adventure together and grow in power but hate it when she dies.</
