I am usally unintrested in backstory beyond that needed to make hero A different from hero B. But i must say with these guys they do a really good job on it and i enjoy it. I really enjoyed GC and GC2 back stories as it added to the feel of the races. I will agree totally on one point i really dislike campaign mode and 99.9% sandbox as i want all features when i play. If i do play campaign it is usally first game or two as a sort of warm up.

Good find and worth reading.
After i fixed the sound problem i am really enjoying the game. Thanks for passing on those codes everyone for those of us who missed out on this great game.
Thanks. Just finished using it. Now if i only had some free time :(
Can i have a coupon please?
It would be great to be able to delete them ingame. But for now like GW Swicord said you can manually delete them. In XP look here C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\My Games\Elemental\Units
Delete them. Seems you can't reuse a name for a save game file. Get a fresh save each time with a new name seems to work for me that way. I just go Save1, Save2 etc etc PS saves i think are here in XP C:\Documents and Settings\USER\My Documents\My Games\Elemental\Saves
I was trying to think of something funny and witty to write about kittens but ended up LOL to the point my wife asked "what was so funny?" I tried explaining my sovereign is standing outside an enemy city trying to cast Rain of Fire but can't It is not because the arrows falling around him nore the screaming hordes of footmen not even the charging war horses can distract him it is as simple as he thinks kittens are cute and cuddly. Well it sou
Look up the saved game locations (don't know it off hand sorry) and see if your saved game names start with ~
I can't wait to start my breeding program :)
I have a saying i have heard all my life. A lock only keeps out a poor thief. Not exaclty a 100% fit you get what i mean. I hate DRM very much and have had it ruin almost all my games sooner or later. There is no point ever to have to the cd/dvd back into my pc unless i want to reinstall the game. Long live Stardock and Impulse.
Yeah I was really confused by this as well at first.
When is the impulse release date?
I agree a Que system would be a great feature [e digicons][/e] .
A couple months ago i had to format and reinstall. My favorites on impulse went back on right away while none of the other games i played i bothered to look for the CD/DVD since it is a huge pain in the butt swapping disks in and out just to play for a short while. My time is so limited now i don't play during the week not even a 1/2 hour but on the weekends i still play and i find i am just firing up a game for an hour or two at most and might fire up something dif
Vasari are my favorite to play and I only played them for many weeks straight before changing it up. Later game thier ability to warp from planet to planet no matter the distance is amazing and makes defending your planets much easier. Thier star bases are the best in game as they are the only ones that move perfect for defence or invading. Like others said a balanced fleet is really important. But don't kill yourself trying to research them all at once. Pick a
I think a weapon based on each race history would be cool. Tec big ground based beam weapon. Advent how about a Pychic wave making some "crew" go beserk and trash the ship till it self destructs? Vasari ground based phase missiles. <span style="font-siz
It would be nice if you could set a target preference for a ship or group of ships. 1. Combat Ships 2. Structures 3. Planet (if possible) 4. Trade ships Something like that anyways
I hope this comes out on impulse. It sounds great.
Wow is in the saying like WOOOT, Super, great, awesome, amazing etc etc Not WoW like the game World of Warcraft. Ironclad is in Vancouver, BC which on is on Canadians west coast. (we have 3 coast lines North, East, West)
I got the robes done in both red and black as i could not pick which was my favorite. As for being old i am now closer to 40 than 30 :( i have to say the last 15-20 years have passed rather to fast.
Wow Canadians rock !! we invented SINS !!!! [e classic]:congrat:[/e] And for imperialistic americans Stardock is pretty good to [e classic];)[/e]
A Tug ship would be great idea. Make it a researchable ship mid - late game. And the Tug moves slow maybe slower the bigger the object and they can never leave the planet they are built around. While it is tugging a base or structure they shutdown and require a min/max time to vamp back up to full operation.
Lets see if this works. Ok got a pic in. It is 8 years old and I was in the middle of a D&D game with my best friend who i have now known almost 30 years since we where kids in public school. [quote who="Raven X" reply="26" id="2388222"] @ Matthew the Mage: Nice Avatar, Raistlin rules. I still reread the first 6 novels and soul forge and thier prequel story. The main reason i am posting is that i emailed Bob Smith Managing Director, Ntronium Games www.ntronium.com I asked about the game an
