Reply to Brad..you keep Bee's? in War of Magic Elemental Forums

My father keep a couple hives so did a few of my uncles and they learned it from their father who also keep bee's of course. There is an argument in the family one side says our coat of arms is a lion holding 3 arrows in its paw and the other side says simple bee hive one.

I had a post i put up a day or two ago that made the suggestion that we each get one free item at game start. A melee or spell item ie One weapon or armour piece but they would have reduced stats compared to normal ones as it is free after all and with no upkeep. There would also be some something for those with a mage in mind you would pick one starter spell. ie Phantom Knife, Pha

I was more than a little put out to say the least when i found out the post i had worked on for more than 20mins failed to post. The whole thing ended up getting wiped out and for some reason my paste function was not working when i was trying to recreate my post. I did finally get my post posted in a shorter form but it at least gets the point across. LOL i was so paranoid i was "posting" every line or two just to make sure it was working.

Some Love for Mages but more customization in general in WOM Ideas Elemental Forums

What about on our first turn we start out we are offered one item/spell. Each with a back story like a family heirloom, found object etc etc None of them game breaking as these items are old and have lesser stats than the first tech items you can research since they are free at start and require no upkeep or cost unlike spells. 1.Breastplate 2.Helm 3.Boots 4.Cape etc etc For Those who want a mage right out of the door

Ok i might sound like a fan boy but i don't really care. This is another example of why i love Stardock. Tell the truth how many games in the last 5 years alone where the next BIG thing? But thier Gold version was horrible and while everyone waited for the patches to start coming but it was all but dropped like a hot potatoe while at the same time they started pointing to the next game in the pipeline.

Well i did buy Civ V Wedsday only to find out my Video Card is not supported Since i have been way to fed up with barely meeting Min requirements for games for the longest time now I broke down and ordered a Custom PC from a Local pc shop. I have put all my gaming on hold till it is finished later next week. But i can say i will put both Civ V and Elemental on first thing and turn the settings all to max and enjoy both.

I have to agree in large part because playing a "Mage" is impossible as it stands now. I spend 1/2 my leveling bringing up STR/DEX and buying better equipment so i can last long enough to finally cast a spell again in a few fights. Equipment or Traits that will raise the amount of mana regen you have are really needed to be able to play a caster.

So in short i killed 3 grandkids when i took out the last city their faction had talk about a family fued. In fact out of 6 or 7 grand kids i forget exact number now only one join me.
