I would love to see that too!

Wasn't it planned that the AI would adjust to the player's ship outfit choices? At least that was my impression in the pre-launch dev-streams.
I posted that as well and they said it will most likely be fixed in the next patch. I hope it doesn't go back to that automatic minimap zooming depending on your normal camera. I want the control about both maps!
Yeah, it lacks a lot of usefull informations and atmosphere. Hmm, then I dunno.
Could the enemy has a trait, technology or building that makes the population resistant to information warfare? Similar to culture flip imunity? Maybe biological warfare would be better against them. Informations like that would be invaluable in the manual or the wiki. But they cover only the minimum on imformations.
I tested the update. The notification list still disappears and reappears every time you delete a notification. Also, the minimap resets the zoom factor and orientation every time I move a ship...

Is the unresponsive UI fixed in 1.12? I refuse to play another game like this :P
Yeah, the tech trees are not unique. You change some names and make some stuff appear earlier or later and adjust some numbers...that is all. No special weapons, no race specific ship parts or diplomatic options, nothing. Just a focus on more influence or not etc.
@Deathwynd Thanks for the reply. I will check out nexus then.
Have you installed a mod that changes anything at a starmap? Maybe the mod is malfunctioning with the new patch.
I want to create a few factions/races, but I am not sure if GC3 is supporting that right now. Maybe you can give me a quick overwiew. Is it possible to create and upload a whole new faction with it's own ship/starbase style, custom research tree (with new techs), user interface (like in Birth of the Federation, not just a different color), structures and background music? Can we add videos with fitting ship styles for the first built fri
I just played 1.1 half an hour but there are two things that catched my eye: 1) If I delete a message from the notification list, the messages disappear, reappear, clear button is greyed out for a second and starts working again. Now instead of deleting dozens of notifications each turn piece by piece (i really hope you add a clear all button), I can now wait 3-4 seconds in between every step. That is annoying to say the least. 2) If you change th
Great, the spoiler didn't work...sry!
I never played a GC-game, I didn't play the beta of GC3 and this is my first contact with Stardock, so don't expect any rose-tinted glasses. I can tell you many games that did meet my expectations at launch, but that won't stop you from trying to redicule my posts as you clearly are a fanboy and as we all know, fanboys don't think calmly, they tend to see everything wi
I really hope the game will get better before we have to pay for add-ons or - god forbid - DLCs. Because I expected more from a full price game at release. My anger is only suppressed by the hope that the community will make the game awesome in time. Nevertheless, I still have the feeling I payed too much, too early!
I don't know if it was already mentioned, but 1.03 ignores idle ships if you end a turn. The "turn button" switches to a greyed out "idle ship" button but it just continues with the other factions. Lost a few ships that way ;)
I have the feeling that the game is not updating a lot of numbers. If you construct a building and your manufacturing points are 0 the project is displayed as N/A and if you change your manufacturing points to >0 the game doesn't update and give you the number of turns the project needs to finish. You have to close the screen and reopen it for the game to display it correctly. The same kinda happens in the research tree (RT). If you select a tech deeper in the RT, the overflow
I played 100 hours and only encountered one problem with soil upgrades. Those upgrades normaly work for me. But in my current game I have 50 planets and there is one class 13 planet that has two soil upgrades available, but if I select them, I don't get tiles to select. It is not a special planet type and other class 13 planets are working as intended. Bug or unexplained feature, who knows? <p style="text-align: justif
I had it installed on a HDD and moved it to my SSD because of the long loading times and microfreezes if you zoom in and out in the campaign map. The game runs on both, but neither the freezes during loading new models/effects nor the long loading times disappeared. It might load a bit faster, but the SSD doesn't make it as fast as in other games.
Place your cursor over the buy button and it should tell you what it costs and how much money you have. If its too expansive, the button greys out.
Thanks for the answers so far :D Yeah, rushing building makes more sense, didn't think about that. And it makes sense, I met a yor player early game that had 18k bc. Trading with him made me rich, it seems that the AI thinks that ~10% of the treasury (doesn't matter how much money it holds) is a good amount for trading. In most cases that only leads to around 180 bc...
I have a few questions and remarks, sorry for the loveless presentation ;) 1) "AI is now allowed to rush more than once across its empire" - does this mean the AI gets free movements? 2) And I noticed that one of my custom races was changed. It had tactical repair 2 and that changed to strategical repair 2. Tactical repair was maybe too powerful, but I loved it.
They mention in a dev-stream that the mage skill tree was the first tree they made and that it needs to be reworked.
I experienced something similar with the Krynn. At first contact, they declared war and I took around 20 planets from them and won every single fight. They begged for peace ~5 times and I declined it every time. After getting enough planets, I wanted peace to stabilize my approval rate. Despite them begging for peace, if I finally offer them peace, they just say "You must be joking". After kicking their butts, I can't even demand a single thing for peace or gi
