I believe the intention of this game is to be a space empire sandbox, not a competitive strategy game, so try to learn to relax your strategies and roleplay a bit (ie don't prey on weak neighbours, don't colonize in their space, and actually try using treaties and trading etc) If you absolutely MUST exploit the game mechanics (you must be a munchkin) then it sounds like you really need to mod the game, which is absolutely ok. Well with only 7 population, 0% Planetary Defence and only 65% Planetary Resistance that world is a sitting duck without ships in orbit, that is hardly 'broken'. Try raising the pop, add some defence structures and keep your approval high. I've been successful defending against invasions.
I built a preparedness center linked with a planetary defence system and the colony capital, giving it level 4 which boosted my planetary resistance to over 400%, making it unassailable (not complaining because it was a fringe word on the Yor border and they couldn't take it even after several waves of transports!) but yeah this building needs the nerf bat, especially because it's a tier 1 unlock.
all the other 'Hyperion' structures (except the Shrinker) don't work either. I'm sure its a known issue that will get fixed one of these patches
I don't know if this is a known problem or not but it appears the Hyperion Shipyard, Supply Depot, and Logistics structures do nothing, but it looks like the Shrinker is working. Anyone else notice this?

yeah also the Thulium Data Archive only gives +10% research now, not worth it either . I think they were OP before so hopefully next patch will hit the sweet spot :)

Hey everyone, enjoying Beta 6, seems pretty stable no crashes yet and only one blank screen on invasion so far! Quick question about negative income, I upgraded a bunch of ships using the Govern Command tab, and my treasury went to -1800 or so, and it froze all my production. A couple turns later I was back into positive territory but production didn't resume, do you have to reactivate it manually? Looked around the shipyard and planet screens but couldn't find anything, if anyone cou
