It was a Design choice to nerf them. You want back original minors that would impact your performance?! I think not. Think of them as "boosters". A clean Planet with nice yields just ripe for conquest. Also minors are such a low priority I doubt we will see any future updates for them in near future. We might if there is nothing else to do but for now- its such a little impact on everything and the time and work needed to update them properly exceeds the benefits. <

That is correct! Any mod that worked for Gc3 will need to be updated for Crusade to work properly. There is a high chance the mod will work just fine but given the differences between Gc3 and Crusade- there might be side-effects or random crashes or whatever. If there are any and if that does not bother you- feel free to play. If that is a problem- you should contact the mod Author and inquire him or her to update it!
Mmm- okay. I have to favor already given comments. While one would argue the game was made by Stardock and therefore the Refund policy is also Stardocks it is not! - by juridical terms- Steam is a shop gaming platform- In this case you paid Steam for the key- so they have a return policy of 2 hours (afaik) and some special cases. However you can still apply for a refund if- its a special case- that case will be looked separately. However where Stard
Elite Founder => Lifetime founder. The people who paid the full amount from get go are considered Lifetime founders and we are referenced as that. Then came the upgrade package "Elite founder" where you had to pay extra to upgrade to Lifetime founder thus they are referenced as Elite Founders. And Founder is a founder who paid for EA and base game. Nowadays its GC3 Gold (with Gc3 Dlcs) And regular (base game)
Stardock wanted to go wider but there were/is some major problems on the Steam platform itself that is causing big problems and it was not possible/doable! That is the reason Brad personally hand-did every Crusade beta tester on behalf of his time/consent and dignity. So there you go! I do agree this system was not perfect and some of you have hurt feelings about it All Lifetime founders will get Crusade regardless.
Its Life. Lovers will love it haters will hate it- There is nothing you can do to persuade one or the other In the end If you can make just 1 person genuinely happy, Its all been worth it.
Happy Easter Holidays! Have Patience! The key giving is a manual Labor on behalf of Frogboys time and consent and yes not everyone gets a key- i mean he really doesn't have to do that. So Cudos for that! Also Its as "dirty" as it gets. Lots of bugs, many changes from 1 thing to another- stuff like that. Save games can become corrupt and all the stuff that relates to Beta testing. If you really want
Okey What now?> This is stupid- i mean STUPID! The Discord chat link was ended so fast as it was created. you can cheese your way into it using bypass that's mentioned in the Discord topic. Now I don't want to be cocky or rude and I do apoligise If i get on someones nerves BUT!!! I am an Elite founder and WE do have Founders Vault so why not post Beta password there or do some other magic woodoo. Stardock website already knows if you are regula
Watching the video and reading steam forums There is a problem of the Subs faction. It seems that some Developers favor Subs more as they are exotic and Subs have received substantial effort in development stage rather than Phc, but yeah- one needs to be objective and there is time and place when you have to let go of affections for facts. Alas we all human. This will be fixed. The game is new and balancing is not a one days fix. Its an ongoing war.
Hey All! Found a new bug. Playing as Arceans and noticed all ships are ordered from 1 shipyard. Now if you select other shipyards- there are other starbases tied to it but no orders made. 1 Syipyard delivers all constructors to All Starbases. Also- if you click on cancel for N+ modules in that shipyard- you brake the system. As shown below in the picture. You can not order any more modules via auto or manual. [IMG]http://i64.tinypic.com/a
I have played a lot of GalCiv3 and I hardly ever use this tab. I find it easy to believe that it was either a). Forgotten or [e digicons]B)[/e] . Not prioritized.
What? You mean when you have enough money you go into shipyard each time? Lets say on a big map you have 80 shipyards minimum. Then to build some ships you click on it- go into it and select a ship to build? <
Hey All! All is good with 1.7 but what happened to the: Shipyard Quick Build tab ? Why did You Guys forget to update it? As in make filters? Paul promised from the first stream- so Is he not a man of his word Or a Dev of his game? ... [e digicons]:hugme:[/e]
Dont want to get rude... But bullock s!!! Stardock says all good here, Valve says all good here. But there is no dlc. A mysterious patch that unisntalled Overlords content from everyones accounts(so far) that know one knows about. Either Stardock or Valve has a problem- dont RUB IT down on common poeple. Get a phone- call Steam CEO and ask- where is the problem. This is not right that both com
Hey Guys! Whats going on? Why did Steam uninstall the Overlord Dlc after aprox 3 hours when Stardock fixed it? Was watching a movie when Ashes updated with the 0kb update. Also.. there is no Dlc tab in properties via Ashes. You cant select anything.
Indeed. For the first time I had time to do something else. All the time i did micro on starbases and now that a great deal of micro is out of the way- I can actually spend time on mercenaries(which are funny in a way) and i have more time to plan how I want to explore. I even did more diplomacy with other races because I just have more free time! I expect the end product of shipyard/ starbase logic to be "smart" and take the heavy load off with the ability t
Hey All! I must say the big building blocks are done! Personally i love shipyard auto idler- just love it!!! Alright moving on! There are cases in mid to late game where you build a new starbase. Once you build it there are many many modules. QQ If a starbase auto upgrades- Why is it so- that i have to see ALL modules? Just show me the core modules
Just pushed the update to the opt-in.
Kudos Guys! Wonderful!!! Syipyard auto idle!!!!!!! :D :D :D Oh boy, Oh boy, OH BOY! :D :D :D
From my experience though on single gpu, the overall performance slows down that late in game. Though i dont think its gpu related- more like engine wise. Then again 2 cards are better than 1 in most cases.
Same here. A shipyard hotfix would be nice- like insta fix and then we can happily wait
Quick reply - apologies for the double post, I hadn't realised I had done that. Thanks Zingo, I'll def have a look at your suggestions. You are right of course EazyWin, the best part of a game is the favourite part of whoever plays. Shipbuilding is obviously a favourite for a lot of people. I suppose I was just meaning that the enjoyment of the game comes from the all the details.
Hey man! No need for double post. Also- welcome to the community. first of all- this has been already covered- we have numerous posts, streams- you name it- you can dig answers yourself, but in short: Gal civ 3 is not Gal civ 2, sure they both come from same lore but gal civ 3 is a sequel to gal civ 2, totally different game- let go the past- let go the bias. Now to your questions: * Gal civ 3 is a huge sa
I seriously need a return of the "Idle Starbase" prompt on the next action button. In complex maps with lots of ships doing lots of things, I often lose track of a newly created starbase and it sits there patiently idle and undeveloped as long as I absentmindedly let it. Very frustrating. Maybe it should only show up when there is a module in the base that has not been used yet. I could see it becoming a

You should watch the latest Dev stream. From stream Paul mentioned- the auto system will choose the best shipyard for a given starbase that can deliver the constructor in the most less time possible. So- regarding your question- it takes in account distance and build speed. Though this is done only when a constructor is requested- the system can not change if you build in that constructors build time another syipyard which is more closer and has better production, from my e
