Not sure what kind of problems he could really be having with that monster of a system... Thank you for the quick replies; it's what I suspected. But a post from March was complaining about FPS in what I gathered was a large fleet action (?) on a i7. (Heck I haven't even found a way to check FPS yet- sure it's there but I don't see the point yet. Game plays smooth on my Xeon from '07)
Silly question I'm sure; but A. Are space battles enabled in Alpha? And if so how do in turn them on/view them?
I've haven't had any problems making my colony ship, loading it with people and parking it on a habitable planet... Made about 15 colonies last game, and invaded 4. So that works pretty much like Galciv2. Hope that helps
