that's the thing, they have transports built and loaded, they just don't send them out and planets they are at war with are utterly undefended.

Nearly that many hours sank into this game now and I'm ready for another break but I thought I would bring up some points that have been bugging me. - The ai doesn't seem to want to win. Playing a game where the snat revenge had a butt load of easier enemies around they could expand into and instead chose me. I kicked their arise, took a load of planets but couldn't be bothered with the rest so the irdium were at war with them and I paid the altarians to have a go as
As the title suggests, when people are not allies I can ask them to go to war but when I form an alliance with them, the option is missing when you would expect that to be an even better time to ask for that sort of collusion.
Damn stupid iPhone auto correct
I get tired of having to restart the game ten times a day because it gets stuck or stutters. Then it has the cheek to as are you sure you want to quit? No actually I'd like to play but you rep getting stuck!!!!
I like the worlds but hate the anomolies, i had to turn them off because they are ridiculous
Some of the anomolies are just bonkers overpowered.
around turn 200 i started going for them and found them ridiculous, i haven't noticed if the computer is interested yet but it doesn't look like it because you need to take a fleet with the survey ship and i'm not sure if the ai would do that. A couple of other funny things i have noticed with dlc is how you can have the snathi and the snathi revenge. But the best thing i saw so far on this game i'm playing is the AI snathi revenge as the chair for the UP (ie picks the motions
Yes i bought the DLC and oh my god are these things overpowered! The rewards are stuff like 50% manufacturing all worlds, 50% influence all worlds, 50% range all ships etc you get the point plus 3k plus credits. I mean it's at the point why take 20 turns to research manufacturing +10% when you can stumble upon 50? There's also bloody hundreds of the damn things! It's utterly insane.
To be honest I just opted out so I could carry on playing because I've been having a great game and didn't want to stop
that's a handy tip but i reckon that has to be back to the drawing board for that update
I'm well into a current game on 1.41 and decided to do an hour tonight before bed and it did an update as i have the opt-in. Then it wouldn't launch and crashed steam. I restarted steam and the game will not launch until such time as it crashes steam.
I tried to use a governer once but the game wouldn't let me advance saying idle colony so I just play the game as normal, once you've done gonvernence research it's the same really
Mine crashes just about every hour now
It crashes a lot more
This is a very promising improvement!
Is it possible too see this road map or is it imaginary?
I wish I could turn off surrenders by sending a game save
Um I'm not so excited, seems like you fixed virtually f-all compared to what actually needs fixing. How about surrenders? Can we fix those or maybe another sorting option for ships beyond "all"
It was much better in the last game when you could turn off surrenders and bend races over backwards in peace negotiations.
I don't want to complain about a game, I want to enjoy it.
They won't use any of it. They will make another crappy pointless DLC or a patch that fixes nothing i mean come on how many months has the game been out and the sub menu for ships on the ui still just has all. How helpful is that? It just shows that they meant to put more options which lets be honest is hardly going to difficult to code but instead they release some crappy events dlc and patch a load of other rubbish, i'm not hopeful at all and i'd very much like to be proven wron
I liked in gc2 how ships gained experience from battle which lessened the painfull need for costly ship upgrades and also being able to turn off the game breaking surrenders
All this dlc is all well and good but it doesn't fix the issues with the game. Why the heck should I give you more money when you have done a poor job of getting the patches done? How long has it been since we asked for the option to disable or tweak surrenders? Instead you give us a dlc of potentially game destroying events instead of just making the game better. It's like oh btw you know how we've been ignoring you well we think we deserve some more money. I won't be spendin
I prefer a consolidated empire and any out there planets I have I'd rather be of my tactical choosing not because of a shitty game mechanicism that we should be able to turn off.
