The "Colonizers" ability is way too overpowered with the new construction time of shipyards. You can expand like crazy. I got 600 points in power while the second race only had about 150 really early in the game. After 120 turns I have ~1500 while the second race has ~250

What changes will we see in beta 2 besides diplomacy, e.g. centering on combats and so on?
There are 3 different environmental technologies to research. Manufactoring, research and wealth. When you research for example the wealth technology, your buildings get +1 to their level on every planet. It is the same, as if you have an adjustancy bonus of +1 on a tile and build an improvement next to it. I still don't know, if it only affects tiles you got from terraforming or all tiles on a planet
just open the console with either "^" for an english installation or "ö" for a german installation and typ "unlock". you can close the console by pressing in the upper right corner of the window.
For me it is just the planet screen music as well, so I don't want to turn off everything
The longer I play the game, the more I get annoyed by this "bing" "bing" "bing" "bing" music in the planet screen. Am I the only one with this?

5) I think you can salvage ships in the detail ship window wich can either be opened in the window on the lower left side when you select a ship or just by double clicking on the ship itself on the main map. Haven't found a way to do this for starbases or shipyards. Some things I found: All terraforming improvments only work once except ultra terraforming which can be used multiple times. Ist this working as intended? When no tile is left for ultra t
The devs already said that they will add a "build nothing" option for the shipyard queue. Despite that, I don't know what is the better option: build a project like research or wealth, or set the production wheel in the govern screen to zero for the manufactoring but then you have to remember this planet because it will not automatically update your improvements.
After a crash, when I load the autosave game, the crash also happens at the next turn, but when I load the previous autosave game, I can usually play again normally.
In fact it is the research value of the planet you see. The icon is wrong.the window on the lower left side shows the right icons and values.
..., but I have lost a lot of my ability to gain useful info at a glance.
That's my biggest concern with the new design. I prefer the small planet statistic window on the left side like in Planet Screen Alpha 1, as well as the production queue on the right side.
Hello everyone, I like the overall design of the screen, but I don't exactly know what to think about the "proposed improvment". I think it gets to easy, if the player doesn't have to think what he should build on a tile. Another thing are "basic" and "advanced" improvments. As soon as you have researched the advanced version of an improvment, the basic version should no longer appear in the improvments list. What do you think about it? &
Thanks for the reply. I know that. My problem is that I can't easily see, which planet does have a starport.
Hello everyone, I haven't played GC2, so I don't know if there is a trick on doing this quicker, but I find it really difficult to see, on which planet I can build ships. It would be nice, if there was a small starport icon besides the planet icon in the colonies overview. Thanks, Hagmak
