I noticed that people are talking about the customised only firing red dots.
Many threads have been made about it over the last few years and I don't believe even one dev has ever replied or even addressed it. We'll see what happens with the "new" viewer. I just hope they get things together with this game and stop chucking wet toilet paper onto walls to see what sticks.
Did you use a shovel to dig up this thread?
Assassins Creed IV: Black Flag and Arma III
I'm running a GTX 1060 and like you, I don't have any problems with any other game. It seems to be something in Intrigue that's causing it. If you look in the patch notes, Brad said he screwed around with the sizes of the maps, save the largest ones (said he didn't want to get killed). Maybe what he did there messed with the graphics of the biggest maps? I don't know. In any event, visually, it's not that big of a deal for me. I am wondering though if it does have anyth
I can confirm this, except mine is a bit more extensive.
I think you're ALL missing the point. [e digicons]:borg:[/e] Did you notice that we're currently on version 2.8 and they're going to 3.0? What happened to 2.9? Personally, I think we need to put this on the TV series Ancient Aliens and bring this up as a conspiracy theory.
ver, 2.9 is in the same place as Windows 9.
You know you could have just gone to the store and got some zip ties.

I didn't see the part where you fixed the 'Battle Viewer' when it comes to just showing kinetic effects with custom races.
Anyway, I went to another site and found another 32Gb G-Skill Ripjaws 4 set, but instead it's 2800Ghz. Oh well, it's the next best thing [unless there's 2900Mhz] and a few dollars [$8.00] less.
I wouldn't worry so much about RAM clock speeds. I have 32GB of DDR4 Ripjaws (2x16GB...2666Ghz) and it runs perfectly fine.
Obligatory 'Fix the Battle Viewer' No really, fix it.
Yeah insane will give you problems down the road.
Not if you run 32GB :)
Obligatory 'Fix the damn battle viewer'

Are you kidding? You only need a small fleet of small ships to wreck them.
Fix the battle viewer where using custom races/shipsets results in only seeing kinetic weapons animation. (Lasers and missiles still count. You just don't see them) Fix the resolution in the battle viewer where changing to free move results in ships becoming blurred. Fix the battle viewer in general. Ships look like they are confused when flying around. Especially in the beginning of a battle.
I have encountered this as well. I fixed the bug by always placing the Bank first.
That's not fixing a bug. That's finding a work around. Give it another 6 or more months. It usually takes Stardock about a year to fix things like this.
What's your computer specs?
I'm not saying this is a bug, but I'm confused how this is game breaking. Honestly if graphics were my forrie in games I probably not play galactic civilizations it has never been big on eye candy. Just watching ships blow up. But it's
You forgot to mention in your tutorial that you'll most likely encounter the annoying bug of "just seeing kinetic weapon effects" in the battle screen when using customized racial ships.
Recently, I DL 'Galactic Empire' from the Steam Workshop.
