I quit using Litestep yesterday. And for your information, My hard drive is partioned into 2 different drives with windows on one and everything else on the other. LiteStep had no problem running and since windows is on another drive, it never crashed. I did not go to college for 2 years to be a computer technican for nothing. I do not appreciate the putdowns. Well here is the problem. Before everyone pulled the Apple OS X skins from the site, I wanted my Windows machine to act, feel, and look like a mac since Apple dosen't make a Windows version of their popular OS. So I got the stardock progams from stardock and then the fun began. I downloaded a OS X theme from this site about a month or so ago. everything was fine until I found out that DX runs differently than objectbar. I wanted the bar on the bottom to emulate the exact look and feel of the doc

I'm a American (Try an stop us!) so what did you expect? JUST KIDDING! I have all the stardock programs on CD. I uninstalled them because I found them hard to use because I need to learn to use them. I get my skins here for my products that you have sjins for. I chat here so I can learn a thing or two about how I can create my own skins. You shouldn't consider Deskmod a rival but rather a brother. They help get artwork out to the masses also. Right now I am also using cusorXP and logon studio. S

yet stardock dosen't have a program that installs and runs ALL of the stardock programs. Top that off with the fact if you want to change one thing with your theme on objectbar you have to go through endless dialog boxes. What about litestep skins?

Speaking of possible rips Jafo, does www.deskmod.com have permission to have some of the skins you find here available for download? I have also found alot of other things there.

I do not use any of Stardocks products. I really don't like the way they operate on my system so I switched to StyleXP and I loke it. I get most of my skins from www.deskmod.com but most of my advice or if I have a problem comes from www.wincustomize.com.

Tried it, but XP don't like it. Moby says it can not start cuz it is missing a .dll file. But then when I go and look for moby and start it from there, it works fine. I'm using mobybar 6.0 beta. Any other ideas?

So I finally reinstalled XP. Then I installed all my Stardock software. My windows now looks like a Mac. I had one question. If I don't like how DX sets up in Winsysles with the current suite can I change it? Also I got Moby bar and it works great but how do you get the thing to start up when windows starts? Or would DX do a better job with a different skin when it comes to the dock on the bottom of a wanna be OS X setup? (PS no apple logos here. I don't wish to have men in black suits knocking

I built my system piece by piece. AMD Duron 1.3, 40gig, etc. Now I come to find out I could have gone to Costco and ordered a Dell through them for cheap. Should have waited. Dell customer support rocks.

I'm not a girl but for the record who cares about the speed of what prosessor or system. We are all chatting here to discuss in a brotherly fashion different aspects of what we have heard or deen and to share artwork and skins or so i thought. Anyways, I am happy with what I have.

It just seems everyone here is into Windows XP and that's cool. I have XP I am using it now (well I will be when I reinstall it. Had a virus. Had to reinstall XP but instead went for 98) What Jafo said through me off in post #1 I guess.
