Actually all that is technically on the planet..in the civ capital, there are farms, and factories adding bonuses. So you could imagine that all the realistic stuff you speak of is on the planet already! (my display of the forums is acting funny. :/ ) DARCA. ;)

Terrans are good diplomats but at heart we only care about money, all politicians do. Terrans are federalist. IMHO.
Wow when you guys put it like that, you shoulda played the Alpha alot like I did! It was a Gallo shell of a game. ;)
When you think about it, choices don't really exist. Fate does. :p Buddy, there are a few types of change; change that adds to something; change that replaces something; and a bit of both. The idea to have things in orbit per say is a change of nonsense. Use your imagination, and also there are already orbital factories call starbases in the game! But you may be right in the way of building farms may not right in a game where population=everything. I would make the techs i
Slash, I do know there was a lot of discussion on this. Brad wanted to have the entire map DARK with ZERO stars. I actually like this idea as it forces you to guess where to go. We will get the galactic mapping tech and that will put your planets and stars on the mini. The game has to have a mechanic that forces you to explore. You want to see where to go first, others want blind exploration. <br
Better yet, it would be simpler to make planet class equal to population cap. Like class 10 holds 10 billion kestlstw. ;) if it were to happen.
This can also have the added benefit of removing farms from the game so you are not wasting space on your planets building them and researching as many techs for them as mostly they are filler anyway. Who likes building farms and incremental farm tech? Drop them and give me an interesti
Karmatic candy. ;)
Ya over thinking it, next you'll say MODDING is "cheating"!
Now who do I want to believe, BloodyTalons or DARCA? Lol
Believe me! I'll give you candy! [e digicons]}:)[/e] DARCA ;)
Doesn't he already read the forums?
Can you release the trailer video now so hype can build up!?!?!
Exactly, and weapons the turn on multiple axis are best and if they are on the side of the "tank" I love it though, the style is great looks similar to something I made. :)
OSs are like console games and computers, they last for years. I just got a new laptop and stuff and its really frustrating they are making it like phones where a new one every year with mild luxury changes. I'm not even a smart tech guy and I am starting to hate this!
According to this article the game to be revealed today is in the fantasy strategy genre, most likely this is E2015. Also they posted this picture from an unannounced game. <div c
Maybe this is deeper than making them better or global... Imagine every other ship having some special combat ability in weapons or defense or both. It would make combat suck as you would have to find out if the ship your about to fight is augmented or possibly lose every time. The idea of augments is becoming very convoluted really quickly no matter if its for one ship, global. DARCA ;)
Its easy to get 100 production in the early game. Easy. It WOULD be best to allow multiple improvements a turn like they said shipyards could do, but it wouldn't solve the upgrade problem sadly.
Eviator that's not the point of this, its common sense to not start off building something that takes 40+ turns! Even for a test. But I have found that: 1. With 2 mid Lv factories in place and trying to build a third it is twice as fast as the current system since the cost seems to be about one turn to complete. 2. With 2-5 or more improvements to be made eventually a backup ensures where improvements could be made faster than is allowed. 3. The bene
Go disruptors go! :) when do you guys think you'll have enough to go to SD?
Exactly! I'm going to mod a few things and test them and give you guys and gals a update on what the results are in a dew hours. :)
+1 karma to someone that can actually tell me why I need windows 10 (9) over my perfectly good windows 8? Really what reason is there for me?
Lol, ya they sounded like other weapons in the game already which is why I was shocked initially when they were disabled. I now recognize the black hole eruptor as a unused gun in the tech tree files along with some others IIRC*. :)
In galciv2 we could make every planet habitable.
I've played for a while and before I get to much to far ahead I'll fill ya all in, and whatever else I've gathered in 108 turns about ¾ through the first age: Turn 1: Xeno commerce. Turn 2: artifact +25% Xeno commerce. Turn 5: artifact completes Xeno commerce. Turn 5: planetary improvement. Turn 9: another artifact +25% planetary improvement. Turn 11: planetary improvement completed. Turn 11: Accelerated growth. <
Why did you disable: Anti-Matter Torp: disabled Anti-Matter Torp II: disabled Anti-Matter Torp III: disabled Quantum Torp: disabled Quantum Torp II: disabled Quantum Torp III: disabled Positronic Torp: disabled Positronic Torp II: disabled Black Hole Eruptor: disabled ?
Best to practice it on ones self like I do, it can work wonders on the mind. (self hypnotism that is.) If diplomacy isn't in by this week my Empire will abandon diplomacy and just start conquering everyone like a drengin playing a strategy game! DARCA. ;)
