Ships don't use fuel, they use energy. Fossil fuels will have been obsolete for over a century in galciv. Although its likely that supplies will not be fully self sufficient in recycling, and food (if you're organic) will run out. I think the yor should have unlimited range because they have no limitations beyond energy and time...plus I can't imagine Yor using life support, power generators maybe. So far I am pleased with the lay out and potential of diplomacy. I like the civ4 type diplomacy as it worked and was popular. Some things have been mentioned already that need work and I can't add that much to it for now. However I think techs should be high lighted based on there specific tree. Red for warfare etc. Also possibly a small number or indication on specialization techs, as they are useless to a AI by and far, and are increasingly harder to comprehend what I'm sell

It should be proportional to the population, the death rate that is. Like 10% of population or whatnot. I guess if they factor in growth, population, and the limit i think a better equation could be made?
X3 had a non steam executable. Fyi But isn't offline mode, offline mode!?!?! You can't get attacked by malware while off online, you just see the starting account tab then it asks would you like offline mode when no connection is found. Lets not go crazy with our opinions and play style, we ARE building this to be a more functional game. so I don't quite understand the range issue when in my games I up it 50% to start and get most of the techs and 5-LS per ship average AND without starbases I can only go half way up a immense map=25% of it. it still takes 10-15 turns average to go across the entire map if you're at the center with good engines, it doesn't sound like a problem to me, the range and LS can m
