Hi, I cannot find the Registration Gift DLC ship parts. Steam says this DLC is installed (see the attached picture). When I enter the code in the Steam activation window, I get the message that I already own this product. What am I doing wrong? Where can I find those ship parts? Can someone help me out, please? Many thanks. P.S.: it seems that the "Style" tab in the Design Mode Parts tab in the ship designer is missing (see picture). It is there where those par

Hi, Stasis Field Module (Ship Deisgner>Components>Equip>Support>Range), the hovering tooltip description says the module increases range, but in the tooltip I cannot find any info on how big this range increase exactly is. Isn't that info supposed to be included in the tooltip? Range in this context means how far the ship can travel from its base/border (and not the moves per turn?)? <img src="http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e208/wotan681/GalCiv%203/G

Hello everyone, This might be a stupid question from me, please do not laugh at me too hard. GalCiv III runs on my PC perfectly, not a single crash or problem so far. My PC has an HDD and I intend to install an SSD instead. Will GalCiv III run on SSDs perfectly, can this switch to SSD cause any stability problems (crashes, etc.)? I am not a PC tech wizard, I do not know much about these things, I just want a smooth and stable GalCiv III experience when I run the game f

In the picture there are two Research Centers under my Civilisation Capital on Earth. Each of the Research Centers is Level 3. How can this be? Each Research Center receives a level bonus from the adjacent Civ Capital and the other, adjacent Research Center. That is 2 levels bonus. So the Research Center should be Level 2, but here it is Level 3. Where comes the 3rd Level 1 bonus from? Or is this a bug? <img src="http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e208/wotan681/GalCiv%20

I have the same problem, there is even a thread on this, but there is no solution yet: https://forums.galciv3.com/453383/page/1/#3457445

One more thing: Will the planetary improvements that are waiting in the manufacturing queue be represented by their icons only? I think their names should be indicated as well. I'm a visual type of a guy, I very much like the addition of improvement icons to the manufacturing queue, it is much more of a visual experience, but I cannot always remember which icon represents which improvement (especially when some of the icons are quite similar). If I want to asses the situation at a

My two cents: 1. If the Manufacturing Queue section is at the lower part of the screen, then they should reverse its two subsections. The "Now Building" subsection, which is currently on the right side, should be put on the left. This seems more logical to me. 2. The hammers, flasks and coins icons don’t give new information, but they occupy too much space on the screen. If I want immediate info on research, manufacturing, etc., text and numbers can give that info immedi

[quote who="Gaunathor" reply="13" id="3457443"]It's basically a gamelog, detailing all the events during the game, plus some details about your system. The devs can use it to find the cause for some bugs. The file gets created automatically once you start the game, and is located in the My Docs\My Games\GalCiv3 folder. Starting a new game replaces the file. As for posting it, there are different ways. The most simple one would be opening the file with a text editor and posting

Today I just started the game and quickly grabbed the relevant screenshots without actually playing the ga

However, the Saves subfolder in C:\....\My Games\GalCiv3 is empty.

Well, I must admit I cannot remember it for sure if I installed it to the default folder. Despite this I'm pretty sure it was the default folder. When I install something to my PC, I practically never change the default install folder, so 99% sure that is the case with GalCiv 3 as well. If someone can tell me what the default folder is, I will check it. I purchased the game through Stardock's website and validated it after on Steam. I don't know if this can be of any impor

I cannot load saved games because there is no "Load" option (it is greyed out; see screenshots). Also, when I save, the previous saves don't appear on the save screen. I have Alpha 0.0.2.0 version. Does anyone have any idea what the problem can be? (P.S.: Sorry, I'm in a hurry, I don't have time to resize the shots or cut out the relevant parts.) <img src="ht

Earth, Starport is adjacent to the Civilization Capital. Civ Capital gives +1 level adjacency bonus to Military Improvements, so Starport being a military improvement is Level 1. Level 1 means +2 Hit Points Cap. I build a Scout from this Starport and this Scout has the same number of hit points (5) as a "normal" Scout. Isn't this "special" Scout supposed to have 7 hit points instead of 5? Is this a bug? Or am I interpreting the meaning of Hit Points Cap not correctly?
