Got another wish list item and I'm sure its been mention before. Why not have a star gate. It could be an actual structure like a starbase/shipyard. It would be an advanced item needing lots of resource and exotic items to build. I would like to see more mission. You should be able to have a mission to find any resource needed. I played a long game recently and was looking for this resources which I didn't find till mid or late game. I should have been able to have a mission to get said resource instead of hoping I find it on a planet with may or may not eventually have said resource.
OK I'm a huge fan of game. Have been since the G2. I usually play on largest map possible for the longest game possible. I want to see my empire as we'll as other empires expand as the game progresses. I'm not sure what happened since a few patches ago but I've noticed a huge pattern on the enemy players. I usually try and start my games where I'm in my little corner of the galaxy far from enemy so I can grow my empire before I'm ready to meet the other races.&n
My game has been crashing when a computer enemy tries to invade my planet and I set it to manually defend vs automatic. It won't crash when I set the invasion for automatic. It also doesn't crash when I attack a planet manually. I have updated my graphics card to latest drivers. From how specific the crash is I don't think its on my end. Decided to upgrade to Crusades about a month ago. I see that I have the latest patch update so not sure if that has any effect on the game I created but not too happy. I played the largest map possible, slowest time frame so I can enjoy a long last epic game. My biggest hope for the game in general is for the game to feel more realistic. One of the best features I absolutely loved about GC2 was how real the game felt. One thing I would like to see revamped completely is trade. Trade should be a play a more major role in the game and not just early game. The current system is weak. I think it should be more implemented in diplomacy rather then actual freighter ships. It would force players to invest more into diplomacy to insure fare trade deals are made. They seem to be a different race from GC2. I used to always try and ally with them even though they were good alignment and I usually play neutral. In GC3 they always and I mean always declare war on me shortly after meeting me and the the war usually last most of the game. Why is it that the AI can warn you about removing ships and or star bases but the player can't. I think the diplomacy feature needs some work. Yes your allowed to trade but it doesn't give you the option to intimidate the AI. For example in GC2 you were able to either beg or intimidate the AI for free stuff. In GC3 it seems you have to trade something for something. When trying to get payment from a weaker AI you have to trade for it vs just telling them that t

OK I'm happy to report that I was able to use an old auto save to get past turn 477. I'm just crossing my fingers to see if I can complete this game all the way thru.
OK something is wrong. Started a whole new game and having another stuck turn this time on turn # 477. I'm hate having to invest so much time in a game when it just locks up like this. Would be nice to at least finish one game, might just have to play on smaller maps as they might be less buggy. I just like the idea of the insane maps and want an extended game but would like to be able to finish it.

Why not implement a neutral zone between ZOC for empires that are close to each other. A small area that would be a little buffer.
I also wish there was an option for NO Surrender like they put in the expansion for GC2 or do we have to wait for them in the future DL patches.
Is this patch for everyone or just founders? I just started a new game and would hate for the new patch to cause any issues with my current game.
I think they should allow scout ships to travel thru other empire borders but not any military ship without declaring war. Another idea would be to ask permission to travel thru enemy territory for a limited # of turns without penalty. You could even have it as a trade item so you would have to give up something for permission.

I have an awesome game going on a insane map. The game seems to not want to get past turn 570 for some reason. I have an earlier save and when I get to turn 570 the game just freezes after I hit turn. I have waited hoping it was just the computer taking its time with turns but nothing. I have an earlier save and even tried deleting the auto saves thinking that might have caused the freeze. I tried doing different things but after I hit turn on #570 it locks up.&n

Just thought of a few more ideas I would love to see in game. Why not have a planetary defenses besides ships. Why not develop Ion cannons like Star Wars or even planetary shields like a lot of space games. Ships would have to get past those defenses in order to land an invasion. This way you don't always have to have a defensive fleet left on planet to protect yourself from a sneaky troop transport taking a planet.
I would like to see races stop begging for help. I can understand every once in awhile but seems most games in Gavciv 2 it seems common. Not sure if this has been fixed but just hate it where mid game every race is allied with another. Alliances should be hard to come by. There should be games where you can either spy mission to break an alliance or they have random events that will cause this. One last thing is it seems that once you go to war with another race
