Two thoughts: 1) Players or AI can choose or not choose to start in the UP, if they choose to start alone they have to be invited in (or apply in the case of the player), and that gets voted on. 2) For the big games, 2 or 3 possible UP's, even simply a rebellious UP that breaks away from the main group sounds quite fun, trying to get races out of one and into the other, also it would naturally define itself by ideology, because different ideologies would invite their fr
I assumed it was an alternate future version of the Terrans coming to bring an 'end to all things'. It would be cool to have these Crusaders as a separate civ/race to play as well. But I hope they are strikingly different than the main Terran race. So it feels like you are playing a completely different race altogether.
Yes it would, perhaps as an unlockable for beating the main campaign? If indeed a
Minor Bug At resolution 1280x1024 - Tooltips are squashed up on many buildings and on several race traits, as a result you only see half the bottom and top line. Building example: It tries to fix itself and make itself bigger on occasion flashing the right size, then back to this.
So ladies and gents, with the dread lords gone, the korath gone and the korx out of the picture, who are the universal bad guys going to be this time around do you think? I know the drengin and yor fill the bad guy role currently but will we have anyone that supersedes them as a bigger late game threat, and if we are in a speculating mood what type of invader or bad guy races would you like to see? For me it'd be a race that was the oppos
Or simply leave the queue and allow any project to jump to the top superseding it, it might take some messing about with the AI using that method however, so you could merely make this a player thing.
It's been awhile since i've played apologies if this is already in Some races should generate unrest when flipped, remember not everyone is human in this game, so human logic does not need to apply so readily, and saying that not everyone that is human is in the majority view of the planet, in fact most have their own opinion when it comes to other countries, places or locations, let alone entire races. As an example of how I would do it: Method 1: The
I am of two minds in this. I would like an option at the start, for races to be known or unknown. I'll expand upon this a bit as I realise I was vague. Unknown , so I don't know how powerful they are, or known so they get a vote in what happens next. Just because I haven't met them shouldn't mean they don't get a say in the UP. A third option would be to blank either their portraits or vote
Great on small maps, very meh on larger maps. It would need some sort of balance, this is like the reverse of the Yor who are not so good early game, yet better at mid game expansion.
