If ships have orders or their are build ques then you are not asked about them till you have to make a decision. research can also be done this way by going into the tree and clicking on something way ahead that will take you through what you want. basically you are only contacted when a decision is needed.
Listening to Paul they have a month of work to do in 3 weeks. I expect a very very tired Paul by launch.

Using 083 I was able to make a constructor that needs 161 but the hull size is only 101.
It is not only choice (or no choice) but also timing and order. Without being able to research all in a collapse then there will be some serious trading going on. A trade group with many would have the advantage over a group of just 2.
I also add my voice to no to Paul's plan. If he goes ahead with it then the MOD that puts it back will be a major factor in choosing which MOD to use.
Just like a planet will flip after too much influence over time IMHO starbases should also. Just takes more time for the people there are the hardest to change.

Ver 083 I started fine and redid my options turning off the starter movie. When I tried to start again the screen loaded till the movie would have started if enabled. If I reboot to play no problem. I have tried using diff versions of my video driver for Radeon and all do it.
Sounds like you got the Founders edition; not the Elite Founders edition.
Not that I know of but the ability to disable the warning or driver check would be a nice option for some.
A custom that I made has all the ascension crystals. There are resource lines going to where a starbase should be but there is nothing. Started this game using 082.
could you add an option in options to turn off the tips and info screens. when going through the diplo screen I need to get to the right scroll bar by going to the top and down or bottom and up.
In the input in options could you add the ability to make hotkeys to dif govern screens govern/colonies govern/explored (to be made) govern/starbases (to be made) All these screens would be available for power users but if someone did not want them to clutter the UI they are also happy. Also you would be building on existing infer structure so hopefully less work.
on the page govern/colonies in the population column add a slash to show pop cap. ex. X/Y
In govern colonies the manufacturing icon does not show. the research and money ones do. Also tool tips popups tell me the columns for research, manufacturing and wealth are wrong.
With my SSDs raided I have the OS, Steam and GC on it and 16 RAM on a laptop. this is allowing me to play immense with 20+ races with no problems.

Sounds like the games were in the wrong place and steam on the ssd moved them to where they needed to be. Yes SSDs are that fast.
The serial number of the SSD would be dif form the HDD one. You can backup the games in steam to an external, reintall steam to the ssd and then restore the games.
I do not want to rename it per say. I want to assign my star to be the races starting point.
Is there a way other then editing the xml to have my star be the starting star for a custom race.
