Just like there is military project in the build que that a planet will do if nothing else is being done. How about making an Assembly Project so Assembly can be done when nothing else is being built. That would be an in between of the current view and what some want.

I can get ship maint cost no problem but can not find what the spacestation maint cost is. Could this be added to its manage screen like it is on ship details screen.
If I make my last move into an asteroid field then turn I can do all movements next turn. First one is out and the rest where I want. No penalty for going through an AF.

It depends on how your faction is. explore, war, etc Then what is available first. What type of weapons and defenses will be best. Use diplo to see what potential enemies have. There are so many combos the best thing may be to just try MANY dif combos to see what is best for when.
