I started a game as the Yor last night and starting building population, then kept adding population, then some more, and some more. After switching to all manufacturing i was pumping out 5 Yor a turn until I hit 60 and decided to stop. In about 8-10 turns I was able to go from something like 14.5 population to 60! Are Yor supposed to be able to grow to these unchecked levels? Seems like you could just steamroll anyone, 50 turns into the game I have a planet with 60 population and tha

I am seriously enjoying the game but have a few questions about it before launch: 1) stealth modules will they make the final build? 2) Will there be an ability to simply bombard a planet with just a ship module - you don't get to control it, but it is destroyed so it is essentially left in ruin and neutral 3) Will some structures require durantium, antimatter, etc to build? 4) Is diplomacy going to be overhauled? implemented? forming an "alliance" ap
The Tier 1 ideology that gives you an extra Trade License doesn't seem to be working. I grabbed it for an early trade license but nothing, and after I had researched the tech to give me my first trade license it didn't move the total from 1 --> 2. I am fairly confident I understood the ideology perk but never got the trade route. I was recently finishing a game as a custom race and noticed that essentially every planet had a greater population than the "Food" provided on the planet. Is this a bug perhaps associated with custom races or do I not understand the relationship between Maximum Population and the Produced "Food" on a planet? I always thought population was limited by the total food available on a planet but am I wrong? Thanks
While I am enjoying the beta, one aspect of the game that could be improved is planetary invasions. Are there plans for planetary bombbardmwnt or other options other than just landing millions of people to fight it out on the planets surface?
Can you give us more information regarding invasions? The information is very bare bones right now. More importantly will there be planetary bombardment module added in t be future? Since the local population is already all killed why not have big siege ships that can rain death upon planets? Thank you!

Hey guys the GalCiv3 beta is my first experience with the Gal Civ series and so far I have enjoyed it. I just have a few questions: 1) growth and food - so I seem to have noticed a planets population tops out at how much food you produce (8 food means you pop cap is 8). Does growth have a base rate? What affects it besides improvments? When I mouse over growth it doesn't give information like other traits. Population does seem to affect a planets ability to produce research, manuf
So far I am enjoying the game a lot, here are a few things I have noticed I think are bugs: 1) When looking at planets stats the "teal colored person" icon doesn't come up with info like the other 6 traits do (research, manufacturing, etc) I think it's growth but yeah just fyi 2) no tooltip telling a player what a starbase will cost to constuct (although I noticed the cost was going up, it would be nice to know what the next one would cost) 3) sometimes when i
