Ok did part of a playthrough after setting their spawn chance to 100....some tiles seem to be outlined in white. The outline spreads, but when I built a starbase in it it receded. Not sure what purpose is. Uploaded screenshot to steam, username there is No one

So kinda self explanatory, but I was wondering if one of you devs out there might comment on what exactly this rift thing that appears alot in the XML might be. Thanks

I play wide in the sense i race to colonize anything I see, but tall in the fact that all but 5 or 6 of the nicest planets only have a starport and market center. Basically, Ill have two super manufacturing worlds, three or four researchers, and my capital.

Edit: Forced them to spawn by changing galactic minimum to 20. Doesn't seem to have texture, and although ship cant get in sector it doesnt do anything else Also, super pumped my request for binary stars was liked :) 0.05 P.S. How come changing binary likelyhood to 100 didnt make them spawn?

Noticed a line for black holes while browsing files modding, BlackHole in map defs. Are they already in the game/ what will they do if not?

When I hover my hand over a planet, the population displayed is different than on the sidebar, usually about double the sidebar reading
