AI cheat to get credit periodically even on Normal. Dunno for Beginner and Easy since i never play against them. Pre-Crusade, they are bloody dumb, and use most of those to rush useless warship out and constructor to spam starbase. Crusade AI get a bit smarter and now they actually spend it on something meaningful like colony ship and improvement.

Recall in promotion is what take them back to general pool. It will cost you 10 Prometien which is damn expensive. I wish it is free but use cooldown period instead.
Citizen is how you specialize your planet now. Space wise, using all three; Space elevator, DCM, and spaceport together aren't worth since it eat up too many tile unless you want to specialize them. I found it is better just to surround Space elevator with factory since each elevator level give +1 All production. It take less tile this way and still give you a lot in both Social and Ship construction. You need more tile to taking care of your planet right now since colony that isn't capital s

All those things shouldn't be visible for you to demand to begin with. It should only available as an offer.
There are weapons that don't need resources to use it but it only appear in early tier. Resources requirement also add another strategic reason for you to knock down all those mining starbase instead of avoiding them. Although i still want the resources free version of weapons back since each weapons now require difference resources, it might possible that you are in position where you can't have the one you wanted and it restrict your playstyle a bit. It mostly just ruin your empire, it is much worse in Crusade since upgrading improvement now take resources.

All construction give to all but Social and Ship give to none except themselves. It raise a question why would you build Deep Core Mine in the first place since it give only 1 Social while Spaceport give All production which benefit from Factory too. Each level of Spaceport also add 1 All production. Unless you not interest to put that planet into ship construction and it has tile that improve Social one. Deep Core Mine need to has lower construction cost. Like half of Spaceport so it can jum

[quote who="BIF" reply="9" id="3676023"] I agree with the OP. In order to colonize a planet, it kind of requires that you get close enough to see it and touch it. No sensible colony ship would blindly enter a planet only based on long range scans or charts made up decades ago when a scout ship last flew past its solar system. Colony projects are just too expensive to build and launch and they have too many lives on the line for us to throw caution to the wind. Rig
Custom faction always get to use this hideous low framerate tech robot in tech screen. It annoy the hell out of me since all other vanilla faction got their own flavor with smoother animation. Yes, since most of everything in Crusade require resource to build, even basic ship weaponry require resource.
