However my computer gets its ass kicked when I go high in the turns of the 2 biggest map sizes insane and (whatever it's called). Anyhow I am hoping you guys can help me with good full PC specs and or setups so I can rebuild my PC (it is due for one anyw

Is there any way to see what changes have been made to a current out in patch prior to its general public release?

Yes I always put research rate at the slowest it can go, and anomalies add to it but only a little, with starbases and everything I researched Doom Ray and Black Hole gun in 2 turns for each.

So I have not been able to get past turn about 250 or so on insane map but one thing that really a joys me is that way before then I have already maxed the ENTIRE Tech tree. It is rediculous and makes the game zero fun because now I am just pumping out maxed warships and steamroll everything and just lol noob at the AI. I remember in GC2 with my spending mazed it would take me 600 or so turns to max the tech tree, sometimes closer to 700 turns. Higher tier techs need to be made a lot more exp

Hey guys I was just wondering if anyone else is having big performance issues with games on insane map size with star and planer nbers maxed? Right now I have 16G of ram, a good VC (can't remember the name), but my processor is a couple years old, however I am overlooking it to compensate. Also I use a 500G crucial SSD. Pretty much when I get to turn about 150 and have about 115 planets under my control and the AI each have 20-35 (because the AI is retarded atm) it starts to get very very

I had the same thing happen to me, except it was on insane map with maxed planets and stars, there were around 50-70 class 25 planets that just fucking popped up everywhere in the galaxy lol. And of course the AI was to fucking stupid to EVER try and colonize them after 80 turns went by. AI sucks right now (COUGH COUGH)

This is my second game on 1.32 and I get to a point in each game (where my current save is) that the game just crashes for no reason, right now I am on turn 130 or something. Very annoying because this current game is going perfectly and the AI is being competent. However no matter what I do I can't get past this crash that always happens when I end my turn.

That is a lot of work, I remember they used to have an in game slider bar that you could adjust what weapons and defenses you could have your core ships built with.

I cannot get any of my games to save on the steam cloud like they used to in beta so I can only play on platform that I first created the save on. Also I it won't let me delete old saves that were on the cloud, every time I do it just re-uploads them when it it next syncs.

The AI needs to be taught to expand, and keep expanding, then it will be much more able to keep up with players, especially on insane map sizes. Right now it likes to stop expanding after only a dozen or two dozen planets. It stops expanding even if its empire is literally surrounded by a large number of habitable worlds even with a few perfect worlds right on its door step.
