So I started A game on Gifted with 12 main civs including me. Insane map size, slow tech speed all that jazz. However the AI represent zero challenge. This is an even bigger problem then the worthless moral system when you're over 200 planets owned. At first it is fun, but after about turn 175 I noticed that the AI had completely STOPPED expanding. I mean I have 170 worlds in my empire, and the next closest is like 25 worlds, and each of the other 11 civs is surrounded by literally hundre

Mizaq what I am trying to get is that it is broken. What I am doing right now is already considered to much just for morale and what you are suggesting would be on the extreme side. Doing all of that would make me suffer in a number of areas mostly micromanagement and my sanity. Changed a few things around to test something, now have 160 planets, 5 Max morale relic starboard, Max tech and ideology, plus I now have 2 that's right 2 morale buildings on every planet and my overall morale is 5. Yeah this is completely unbalanced for large maps.

This is dumb, right now the only logical option is to completely ignore morale, get every planet you can, and crush your opponents with industry, wealth, and tech. No point even making morale buildings. I have 136 planets, and can pump out ships and troops faster than the rest of the galaxy combined.

Yeah it is impossible to have good morale on insane map without devoting more buildings to morale which will gimp you one of more fields.

Right now morale is completely worthless in this game. It starts off fine, but as my empire grows that damn large empire penalty gets brutal. I am on insane map as the Terran alliance, with 10 AI, challenge difficulty. My overall morale is 3, with the moral on Earth herself only being at 61% with a stadium. Also it makes the AI unwilling to expand beyond 25-30 planet at turn180, which makes my empire able to out produce all the other 9 civs combined in EVERY SINGLE category. STARDOCK, fix yo shit son!!!

STARDOCK please push back the release date at least 1 more month! I know you want money and you "think" the game is ready, but it is not. I am playing on insane map, challenging difficulty, with 10 races. Right now I am 187 turns in, I control 122 planets and my overall morale is 1/100. This is ridiculous and needs to be retuned, I have moral tech maxed, I have 3 moral relics with stations that are maxed, I am almost full benevolent, and I have 1-2 moral buildings on every single planet, and lastly I control every single Harmony Crystal resource that any civ has because I bought them all. please fix this because it is extremely
I can't help but feel that you guys are releasing it too soon. I mean yes I am very excited, but I just think another month of Beta is needed to work out all the bugs and exploits.
This patch made Ideology worse!!! Now when I play the game as long as I have points in each ideology I can spam all of them to full in one turn cause the points don't get spent, and and cost of each does not increase. Made the game not fun to play at all, cause like I am cheating and that is BOOOOORING!

Are we able to do anything with asteroids anymore like we did in GC2, or are they just there for show now?
There is a problem with the battles in beta 5, I was playing on insane map as terrans, with the 7 other races plus 2 i made myself. When the custom race I created started a war with me I couldn't kill there damn ships to save my life. They have a -2 to hit rating and they are -1 for accuracy. There ships were never bigger then small hulls, mine are medium, with 2-3 times the fire power, and armor that was equal to their driver weapons damage. With this they still killed me, and had 10/32
Benevolence levels 3 and 5 do not work, I noticed zero extra tiles on any of my planets, and when I reached level 5 a class 4 planet and not a class 16 joined my empire. The soil enhancement tech is somehow bugged, I don't know how I did it because I noticed several turns afterword's, but at first no worlds would allow me to build a first level soil enhancement, an a few turns later they did, but when I looked at earth after this, it had 14 soil enhancements in its build queue. <
