Now this is really strange then. I just created a new Synthetic/Artificial specie and started a new game with it. Placing down the Computational Core gave me access to the Manufacturing District right away. Edit: Alright looks I found the issue. If you rush build the Computational Core on the first turn you get access to the manufacturing district. On the other hand if you let it build naturally after a few turns you do not get the district. So there's a trigger bug when you don't rus

When you say "basic Manufacturing tile" you mean the Manufacturing District right ? Just testing it now in a brand new Yor game, placing down the Computational Core and rush building it does enable the Manufacturing District to be built. So wondering if you are referring something else ?
Thx for the report, I've passed it along.
It does :) Thx for all the details!
Hey thx for that feedback! Do you have specifics things that comes to mind as far as UI and bugs ? On 3. that's by design; the voice over wasn't meant to be a word for word read of the text on screen. Still, I've shared your opinions along :)
Not to my knowledge. I'll make sure your concerns are forwarded to the community team though.
Yeah, zooming all the way out has always cause the FPS to drop in the 20ish range. Doesn't really matter what kind of system you got. From my understanding it's a very hard if not impossible problem to solve at the moment. Thankfully we don't spend much time playing zoomed out all the way! Performance when zoomed at normal level has gotten better from build to build though and gives enjoyable FPS I find.
The Supernova Edition is the only version available on Steam. What make you say that you don't have the Supernova edition ?
It's available right now in the latest patch that got released today! Thankfully you'll need to start a new game to see most of the balancing changes. The engine performance upgrades though you should benefit right away.
It's not necessarily fleet wise no. The description would say if it is usually. In the case of the Gigamass Core it's not fleet wise and will only apply to the the ship itself. Note that there has been talk on the gc4-commons discord to change those components to use energy instead of gigamass. So we'll see what the future holds on that front!
Indeed I do! You can download it at https://www.galciv4.com/mods/manager under UP Bundle of Mods V1.9.30 or later. That particular mod can be found as the UP_MBC_Shrinker folder. Simply put it, or any other mod folders, into %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\Mods and enable mods either in the game menu or under MODS in the launcher and you're good to go. Note that a new game will be required to get gameplay mods working in your

Are you sure you bought the entire expansion pass and not just the soundtrack DLC ? What does your receipt says ?
Ahh, so you still only have the base version of GC4 and not Supernova ? That's probably why you don't see the expansions since they are for the Supernova edition only.
If you explore the Addons for Galactic Civilization IV Supernova does it show that you have them when you click on say Warlords ?
This looks to me like your Sound Speaker are set in 5.1 mode, but you're only really using 2.1 speaker/headphones. Have you check in windows to make sure you have the proper speaker setup set ?
Was it always like this or is this something new ? What's your system spec, sound card, etc. ?
There was some talk on the game discord during the holiday break about improving the diplomatic AI; making the AI be more considerate of your various interactions with it (trading, helping with a war, etc.). If it does make it in an upcoming build of the game, it may help.
Hiya, looking at the Epic store page for the GC4 Expansion Pass I see pictures of all the DLCs underneath the soundtrack image. Furthermore the DLCs are listed in text. Did you mean something else then the store page ?
Hey Perrya, the community actually came out with a mod to "fix" this one by giving volley to all the missile and beam weapons ship components. You can download it at https://www.galciv4.com/mods/manager in the UP Bundle of Mods V1.9.28 or later. Check for BugFix_Illauna-VolleyFix if you just want to use that one bug fix mod.
For the Species Pack check under custom civilization when making a new game. Then select choose species. If you have the DLC you should see a Create New Species at the bottom right.
I did try to mitigate this issue with BugFix_UP_GigaMassTerraformingAIPreference found in UP Bundle of Mods V1.9.28+ at https://www.galciv4.com/mods/manager . I'm not convince it's working too well though hehe. Feel free to try it out and let me know if that helped.
I presume you have the game on Steam, if so have you tried to do a Verify Integreity of game files under the Installed Files menu in settings ?
What happens if you just restarts the game ? Shouldn't it recreate the folder automatically ?
You should be able to find the save file in C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\sins2\saved_games\1043\single_player_user where YourUserName is replaced by your specific user account name on your pc. Once you've found it you can post it on the Sins 2 discord sitrep at with some explanations about the issue : https://discord.com/channels/266693357093257216/1316468176275636335
