I just started a new game as the krynn, and i found this ship in the designer. As can be seen it requires twice the available capacity to build, and therefore shouldn't exist. It can be constructed. But when sent to a starbase it yielded only one construction point

Hi all. A couple of patches ago me and my cousin made a custom race, and we were unable to play i. That issue has persisted, and now using 6.1 it still happens. The issue is that right at the start of the game, as soon as we select any of our ships, the game stalls for a bi, the music stutters, and then it silently crashes to desktop, after about 10 seconds. We're using a fancy looking reflective ship style, so it could be some sort of shader issue, but im sure my video ca
ha, maybe. but it still doesn't make sense that i can build farmland in canada, which is mostly icy wasteland. or three whole hexagons in africa
So i'm playing terrans on a whim, of course you made a custom map for earth. But the placement of tiles on it doesn't really make sense. Europe and all of south america was unuseable. I think earth needs a more static layout of tiles. Most notably, specific areas should be unuseable but terraformable, including: Canada Northern Russia/siberia All of africa The middle easy Australia. since tho
agreed. I generally load my upgrader ships up with multiple construction modules once miniaturisation makes it possible, i've seen ships able to carry 3 construction points each which is pretty cool for actually constructing starbases, i use a ship i name Pioneer, which has a single constructor, plus a good balance of lifesupport and engines.
1. Give them the ability to move, with upgradeable engines 2. Give them some ability to conduct long range "artillery" strikes, on enemy fleets (and an ability to set on overwatch and automatically fire on incoming enemies)
I don't know how amny of you guys are aware, but i've been using a neat little trick since galciv 2. For the constructors that i build most of the time, (to upgrade starbases with) i design a special constructor which is stripped down to nothing but a hull and construction module. Removing the engines and life support. I name this ship Upgrader This lowers the cost significantly, by about 40-60% compared to the default one, and enables me to crank them out a turn or two faster
