Ok, how about the alliances? I can't seem to find any info on that ;~; Maybe a modder knows?

I agree about the first part the most. Like I'm not a good player. If the ai was more aggressive with conquering I'd be screwed more often than not, but they just tend to destroy everything and leave my planets alone. However, I did notice that those races which have invasion tech build transports. Had a lengthy and bloody war last game where this race around my power level wouldn't roll ovr and die and we kept fighting over the same 3 planets until I
You have to research them. They're low-mid to high-mid tech. As you research them you choose different branches. But idk what the different alliances do. Like, I don't see any difference between a technological alliance and a military alliance.
Did the autoplay command become the ai command? if so, how do I get the ai to play as my creations so I could watch rather than play
i tried to look this up but I can't find it. What do the different alliances do? How about treaties? Like, millitary alliancd vs technological alliance. Stuff like that.
So, I was playing and an idea came to me. How about a patrol option for ships? Similar to Explore, but the ships stay within your zone of influence and move around, engaging any ships from factions your at war with.
So, I redownloaded the game yesterday and went to the create a race thing. When there I had the standard image for the leader and background. But when I opened it to change the image the menu was blank. I only saw a browse button, a cancel button, and a done button. When clicking donemit crashed the game. When clicking browse it opened my file folder and I only saw my custom images after a quick check to see if they're still there.
I can understand the doubts about the economy but not the reaserch. If anything I'd sa they should have an increase in reaserch and production. But, like the above said, they're better at it than meatbags because they think faster. as for the creativity, who said only organics can be creative?
Shouldn't the slave brokering be under the economic treaty instead of the research treaty? Because like it is now the research treaty gives a peoduction/wealth bonus while the exonomic treaty gives a reaserch bonus. Yor tech tree, playing as a custom faction.
I just saw this topic. Ok, a few turns ago a custom faction of mine 'demanded tribute' from me, another custom faction. The thing is I have over twice it's power. I find it laughable how they demand tribute of a faction that's far stronger than they, and that I'm currently destroying the Altarians who were the second strongest in the game. the AI shouldn't demand tribute unless it's stronger. <
Ok, so, I'm a fan of those biological terror's in sci-fi. I mean The Flood, The Tyranids, The Zerg and others like them. I'd love to have biological ships, maybe in a DLC. I think it would be cool to have ships that have their own versions of the tech other races use, like you won't see an animal using a gun, but, they do have their own mechanisms. Such as instead of a beam weapon they could be able to 'spit' with the same base result
I prefer things like this, it adds a flair to the game. Like, will you destroy them? Rush diplomacy? Use the iseologies? Stuff like that
+1 its not hard to tell who the major colors are, but when tjere are two similar colors it gets hard
So I'm a new player, and I've been on the forums for a day or so now. And I found a bug. I'm playing a custom race. Not sure about the map size. I just started using the ship tab to try and find colonizer ships, when I notice that I have two. I click on one and it's selected and I send it. But when I click on the second it high lights a fleet without a colonizer. I disband the fleet and it highlights one of the ships that was in it
It might not be so easy to implement. The isolationist wouldn't seek to gain more planets. They might just stay in their original place. Which wouldn't make them industrialized. But, still entertaining and logical.
So, I just got the game yesterday. Didn't do much research into it or anything. And it's my first Galactic Civilizations game. Other than for the crashing (probably my laptop's fault not the games) I loved it. I spent all day playing the game, stayed up on it till 1:30 am and didn't wanna get off. I'd be on it right now, but have to go to work (work once a week so I know where I'll be for the rest of the week).
ROFL, please is the magic word
I'd love this.
