Kinda of a way to do it. Click on the race in the race select and copy. Then work with the copy and use that in the game instead of the vanilla
Oooo, so now I'm wondering about if they're less advanced with normal transportation or more advanced with something else entirely (like teleportation) and how balancing would work. Ty for the info! Gods can't wait!
can someone list everything we know about the third faction? New to the game but already looking forward to the new faction cuz the first two are done so well
Terrain wise, if hovering units can't climb steep hills, or work in overly soft ground, there are considerations to having technologically inferior, but tactically useful modes of transportation, including wide track vehicles and spiderbots. Bipedal would never make sense since these aren't actual people driving them. Gravity channeling could require a firm, relatively flat surface, and make room for numerous alternative a
I actually don't want units to have legs or treads. These units are supposed to be the best of the best, so, tell me how legs are better than being able to hover? Hovering can do anything that legs can and more. I love the design and would love to have more ^^ Tho I did notice you didn't mention the other one much, nor is there concept art.
It's not 1.1, I just played earlier today with it fully updated. And just a bit ago I got a new update from Ashes o,o 694.4 KB around 4 EST.
So, I was playing Totalwar Atilla and I got an idea that would (to me) feel amazing to have in GalCiv So, I want more diplomacy options, and I think a massive diplomacy patch is coming. So here's what I believe would be great to add to the game Conquered empires. I would love to have the option to conquer an empire, not by taking over their planets, but by forcing them to do what I want. Pretty much, whatever diplomacy I have to other civiliza
Ooo, the way I see this: Some advanced empire was watching you, and framed you for it ^^ Intrigue
So, decided to get back into the game, and so I boot up an insane map with 42 enemies, and its taking a while for a turn to go through now. Like, 20-50 sec. I don't remember it taking this long. any tips?
Mods shmods. Makes me think about a DLC of additional traits and abilities for custom factions. 20 of each would be nice. Then, just to keep with the Extremely-Demanding-of-Devs theme, another DLC to get the AI able to build a custom faction with coherent flavor text pulled from a box-o-blurbs that are tagged to associate with traits, abilities, personalities, and other blurbs. Could be much stronger replayability bo
So, I just got mercenaries and first thoughts are that I love it Now, onto the meat of the post. The torrians or whatnot have a trait for aquatic worlds, and I'd like the same for the other worlds. Like, what if I want to play a race which thrives or radiation? How about toxins? We have an aquatic race, how about one that's crystalline and lives on ice planets? Or a insect like one which lives on baren worlds? etc.
Quoting , quoting post What's next for GalCiv 3? Anyone hear rumors or such? Road map pretty much stops at 1.7 and hasn't been update in a long time. like, what are some of the things planned for the future? Just want to
I haven't played in like 2-3 months due to another game, but never had this before. i sent a support ticket in cuz when I culture flipped the game bugged out and doesn't see me as the winner XD want that achievement!
Oh man, try guys. and yeah, I'd love those one liners ^^

Ive seen this many times in my games. like, i saw that if they are allowed to get to mid game un disturbed they will explode above everyone else. Onply happens early game if they have a good spot. they have a ton of power, but the way I play makes me win 99% of the battles against them, and when I get ready to fight they drop by hundreds of points. For example, just earlier today I was at 30 points and they were
I've been having this in the Snathi Campaign against the terrans and nothing worked, so had to culture flip to get the planets.
I think this would be amazing to have! No longer will research orientated worlds become obsolete when you research everything. Maybe even add something like a tech to research to try and find other tech. Such as. Research military technology with a focus on weapons. Discover energy weapons. Or explosives. Or kinetic weapons. Etc. Then research the basic forms of those to get to your part of it.
Love the idea! how about we add in rebellions and whatnot too? Like, enemies team up and start disrupting your emoire. Making citizens rebel, attacking planetsnyour trading with to stop your income. and maybe even focusing onyour capital worlds. That would mKe defending yourself a bit harder and more important I think.
see, if modd were allowed in multiplayer things like my custom race which is broken would be allowed. No balance to the races what so ever. so i think they need to get catagories for mods. Like, custom ship sets are allowed. but not custom races/starting systems.
Hey Island Dog! I don't think were saying updates will stop or even slow down. Just talking about giving the team a focus.
The problem with the financial plan is that not everyone is willing to buy the game, buy the dlc, and also pay to have it fixed, or pay to get certain content onto a dlc and then have to buy it. Plus, as you mentioned, not every player can do this even if they wanted to due to finances. And so lets say 1 out of 100 players does chip in. How much would it have to be per player to actually make it worth Working on for the dev team?
I like the idea actually. But i think it would work better with a voting shstem rather than a cash shstem. Players cluld vote on features they want, and the devs would focus on the top ones for that month. Every month the vote would get reset and same thing again. also, for the thpo. I remember drening (probably mispelled that>
