First? I'm not sure, but Lode Runner has high chances to be first, or, at least, among first. I simply do not remember, sorry.

See no problems with that. To each his own. For instance, I have no problems playing older Settlers, while friend of mine can play only 10th Anniversary. I enjoy playing old games which, actually, work on modern rigs without any "eldritch rituals", even if I own old (original) copies of games in box. Sometimes I play to remember those good feelings I had when I played game for the first time, or try to find something new, sometimes I play game I either haven't played, or played for too sh
Yes, But i was refering to the price on steam being much higher than in the shop in the same country. If i buy it in the shop, Steam gets less or no share of the profit - therefore this puts pressure on Steam to reject the high regional pricing they are stuck with. Of course this relies on being able to find a game cheaper in the shop or other digital distribution (that Steam don't control if that were possible).
About multitple opponents. If memory serves, Jagged Alliance 2 allowed multiple sides battles with possibilities of interrupts. There even were four siders (Deidrana forces, Militia, local fauna and our mercenaries). I exclude civilians and alike, they rarely participated in combats, and even if they did, generally in small numbers. So in theory there could be possibility of "interrupts" should someone left "action points" during his previous turn, adding some sort of tactics to comba

Not all people have high speed (low drag [e digicons]:d[/e] ) internet, not all have multiple PCs or PC+laptop (breaking news - they are on decline, blame tablets [e digicons]*_*[/e] ), even knowing how Stardock polish their code, not all of those would be able to work with GC3. I missed the title entirely (and I can't even remember why) and have no personal experience with it. Currently I don't mind to buy it for T&E for reasonable sum of money.
Hotseat would've bring a lot of warm memories of old times of Heroes of Might and Magic, for example. Few parties were actually completed, but they definitely followed pattern of "have fun - let other have fun". Thanks for Q&A, that was nice.
