I have upgraded to 1.2 and am not able to use any mods. When I have mods enabled and try to either start a new game or load a previous save the "loading map" screen will stay on screen forever. I end up Ctl=Alt=Del and close out the game to restart. This happens when I try to go to campaign mode as well. When I take mods off, the game loads...
I noticed there are now races and ships on Steam workshop and have subscribed to a few of them but they did not download to my game. Is it not online to the game yet? Any timeframe for when it will be?
I agree. What I really dislike is taking over a planet and then they surrender to another civ while the tactical starbase you wanted goes to another civ.

I have searched forums but cannot find answers to a few questions I have. Is there or where is the function to rotate ship designs in the window as per GC2??? I hope you are able to rotate them to see them better for designing. Also, I have been saving a few designs as templates but can not find them later when I go into design? </
