Can we PLEASE make something to edit ships like here http://uploads.ru/FmH2b.jpg ?? Or maybe tell me how can I change the hull colors by editing .xmls?

Sweet! Thanks a lot!
The game ISN'T ready. And I doubt it will be. Even as the bugs can be worked out there are gameplay issues that are critical and still ignored by the devs. How can one release a game like that? idk.
I think the OP (and what, one or two other poster) are being too critical. The game is playing like butter for me. I doubt the reviewers will slaughter the game because of a few typos, and some ambiguous unspecified problems. T
I've got the rc of beta 6. It would be a 4 star game if that was the release version. is GalCiv III "finished"? My answer: Never! I have a nearly infinite laundry list of stuff it "needs" (and don't you guys start on me about need vs. want).
Now that's the spirit!)) There is no limit to perfection indeed. Though a good start would help a lot. I trust in you and your team to do the right thing. Havi
Quoting Bloodlust1983, reply 1 Are they nuts??? The game is barely half-ready! There are bugs but what game does not? It is already a AAA quality game and the AI and performance tweaks we get in the next month wi
But it is also the truth that many things are to be doe yet and many are done quite poorly, so there is much room for improvement.
- Please allow us to choose each of our ships' colors, rather than having to choose some preset colors.
This thing turns you mad like me, huh? =)
Another problem is that we do not get the popup messages to know what's new in our empire and the galaxy. No finished building repoert, no finished ships reports and NO reports on status change in the diplomacy relation of other civs. Like I was playing some turns before I looked into diplomacy screen to learn that half the races are at war with each other and I didn't even knew that.
On #2, what race were you playing as? When playing as Altarian or a custom race using Altarian ship designs, I've seen the same thing. I mentioned it in another thread, and Derek thought it might be related to the race. On #1, I've seen pirate starports, but not starbases. On #5, try viewing the tech tree instead of the default tech window. Button is on the lower left.
<p
I played a moderate game just to b-line for invasion tech to see what inwasions dp look like. There are few things I stumbled upon while playing. 1. The pirate starbases. Do they exist? I set the pirate level to highest and not a single starbase the whole game (some 150 turns ) 2. I fought pirates in the anomaly and noticed that there is no graphic effect of my ship firing on them. Although damage is dealt and appears in battle log. When I later engaged with the fleet of anoth

Update: You should make such playthroughs with the other races too!Because I think you mostly tune the Drengin to be competetive and in the end they always overpowered imba race while the others are sloppy and stupid. I know this from GC2 and after last patch people report the same for GC3.
Yes any cheap defender with any puny weapon. Just so no transport could sneak in and take out an undefended world. And the fast model of interceptor to patrol its borders from transport would be nice. In GC2 I used to sell obsolete ships to the good races (they always used to be far weaker then evil). I was making more money that way then decomissining and was raising my ally's military standing a little. Can I do the same here I wonder?
Quoting Bloodlust1983, reply 8 My feedback part only concerned one thing I stumbled upon when I tried to make a lot of custom races and this is UI ability to create custom color schematics for them as when one creates over 40 races he quickly runs out of unique colors for them.
Quoting Bloodlust1983, reply 6 Of course I did. But for you to know there is war in my country and I'm in the middle of it. We are at the brink of annihilation by the russian forces. And I still bought the game. Spent the last buck I had on my visa card. It should be blocked
Quoting Bloodlust1983, reply 3 And again I see the worst things from GalCiv2 come to life in GC 3. I cannot believe I've paid money for that. If the game will be like this in the release I swear to gods I will download the expansions via torrents! <

I talked about color problem repeatedly on this forun and even created a ticket to SD support. But everything seems to be ignored. Although happy I'm not the only one to be bothered with this strange oversight of theirs. [e digicons]:)[/e]
In an insane map about turn 100 I met the Drenghi. I had about 28 colonies and the Drenghi had 55. I was ahead of 4 other factions by 8-10 colomies and here they come with 55. I immediately started a trade with them and of course I expected them to be loaded with military tech and since they were ahead of me in power I expected a few nice fleets in their list of ships. In stead the only tradeable tech they had was population tech
Smart AI! Smart AI I beg of you! To hell with perfomance it doesnt mean a thing with the crappy ai. I can play 10 turns in a day if it has to be this way but the game must interesting with the cool and powerful AI.
Must be a period during which they will reject diplomatic attempts to resolve conflict
Great work! And what I did? I filed a compliant with the Stardock support to bring the attention of the devs to this oversight of theirs. Hope they will fix it and make an in game painting screen like we used to have in GC 2
