Plus GC2 had bonus area of effect (Zone of Control) weapon and defence modules - stella avenger/defender plus the xalax and Zalax something modules and we had warp bubble modules for fleet speed boosts...

Unfortunatly in all walks of life theres a vocal minority that have the sole aim of ruining everything for everyone else and only stop when the full weight of society is brought down upon them! by which time alot of damage has already been done.
Forklifts still need people to drive and operate them (I'm a Forklift driver in RL) atm! certain jobs like farming, carpentry and certain trades cannot be fully automated and even today certain specialised trades demand a higher premium as they can only be done by us "humans or Biological entities" as it were and starting out on a new planet people will have to do the basic work before the factories are built that can churn out these fabulous androids that can do everything.
Yes But in GC 2 you still had to fly around the system to find out whether they were habitable straightaway or you had to research advanced colonisation as 2 of the 3 habitable planets maybe toxic or heavy gravity ones?
I'll give this a go. 1) I like the diplomacy in GC2 trading techs, swapping economic and research treaties and alliances and I lked it in Sword of the Stars 2. [e digicons][/e] The worst game for diplomacy was The Lost Empire - Eww! (too restrictive) [e digicons][/e] 2) The longest game I've finished in GC2 was 32yrs 6mths so 1500 turns+ But I had saved games that were just as long till my wifes comp died and wiped 4 years (real time) games play out.
Thanks ID much appreciated [e digicons][/e]

I just read the databanks ( I know shoot me now [e digicons]:omg:[/e] ) The surviving Korx are merged into the Krynn and turning it into a crime syndicate from the inside out (rise of the Korx/Krynn Alliance?) The Torians are being farmed but have the super breeder super ability so can rebuild once freed from Drengin occupation? The Arceans have survived in small pockets on other worlds (bound to be some on Altaria and Earth?) Everyone seems to

I hope they include the minor/major events as I quite liked them except when it announced the arrival of the Dread Lords.... :'(
