Could you please make it where when you're playing GalCiv3 you can use the page up and page down keyboard keys to do the same thing that the mouse wheel scroll up and scroll down does? My mouse scroll wheel only works every so often, other times it doesn't work right, and that's all the time not just in this game. I use pgup and pgdn keys all the time in Civ5 now since I had this problem on my old mouse, and with the new mouse I bought it started happening again. &nbsp

Ok I finally got the game to run. Turns out I had to upgrade windows 8 to windows 8.1. This is done separately from regular windows updates, so I thought I had the latest version, but I didn't.

I downloaded the game and steam keeps giving me error messages every time i try to run it. I have windows 8 64 bit 4gb ram and 2.4 ghz processor. I figured I would start a thread for this issue since it hasn't been easily resolved.

Well I got 4 gb of ram, it just says 3.89 usable on my control panel. I watched this vid and am redownloading steam files now. Guy says half his steam games didn't work for months until he did this. I think I'll try deleting local content then downloading the game again. edit2: I recommend against doing what that

I've downloaded and installed the game, but when I click play it says, "Failed to start game (unknown error)." Anybody else have this problem? I don't know what to do.
Also I'd took internal trade into consideration - trade within our system, between our planets, and logistics overall.
Yes, I think internal trade routes would be cool in galciv3 too. It could all be integrated into the starbase system somehow as well. Perhaps different types of resources could be mined from different asteroid fields to trade with some not being available until later tech advancement. &

I would like to see research agreements rather than direct tech trading in galciv3. It's a great concept in civ5 and requires a friendship agreement as well as a tech advance to do it. I think it enhances the diplomacy aspect of the game.

I just ordered my Galactic Civilizations III: Founder's Elite Edition and I plan to name a star "Mazzone", my last name. Looking forward to seeing the founder's badge under my name and playing all the galciv3 content. [e digicons]:star:[/e]

What about techs that are unique to specific civilizations? There were so many in GC2 you had to find where they were on the tree if you got one from trading. It would be nice to have a find tech search option like there was for stars and planets.
