Sorry for the (very) late reply. Yes, that's the report in question. I *LOVE* your game, and *LOVE* the ship creator, and am so looking forward to part 4. I'm one of those guys that has to create his own custom class of ships for every ship roll in the game, so I end up spending half of it in the creator. It just get's so frustrating when you go to (for example) move a part by dragging it's axis, and it either barely moves because of the camera angle, or ZIPS over to max. Same

To the Devs: I was an early access beta tester for GalCiv 3. I did a bug report back in 2014, and one of those bugs have remained forever (using the gizmos in ship creator causing other parts to get all wonky, shift, or not respond properly). I'm not here to complain about that, but am only pointing it out in the hopes that you don't repeat that mistake. Add-ons and extra bits are cool and all, but like Bethesda, don't add stuff onto a broken frame.
update: I was on the beta update, when I removed myself from that, everything went back to normal.
So I uninstalled Crusades and decided to play a regular game, but all the tech trees are messed up now. I verified the game files, it replaced 4, but still, the tech trees are giving messed up descriptions of XML titles.
I'd like to know how the hell they get all the administrators to do that.
Is it just me, or did Crusades seriously make the game less fun to play? Its all about micromanaging now. You never have enough administrators, running out of food because they killed the farms, I just realized I have to train legions to invade other planets.... meanwhile on the beginner difficulty my nearest other civ is taking over planets left and right, advancing their research out their ass. What used to be fun elements of the game have been replaced with micromanagement
It would be nice if a right click menu can be added, especially for ships and fleets to give commands.
Scratch, I found out after doing some digging. Didn't know they all had to be attached to one another. I'm an idiot, my bad! Sorry!!
I know my card itself is using DX11, i'm talking about the game though. I'm not sure if the game is running in DX11 mode.
My card is dx11 capable, though i'm not sure if i'm using it or not. How would I check?
That looks normal to you? You don't see the sharp constrast between the left and right parts? There's a line going down the dead center of it where one side is deeply shadows and the other is not.
For some reason, all my ship parts are extremely shiny and the contrast is all messed up. No matter what material i use (i've tried them all). Ship parts come out looking like this:
Human error
Other mods work fine for me, but this one just refuses to work.
I'm curious, I don't seem to have all the available options in your mod. Swarm, and cyborgs, for example. I do have the Scathi DLC. Also, if I may make a suggestion, have a -1 trait option available so that we can downgrade certain aspects to give us extra points elsewhere. You don't have to have everything as a bonus. instead of +4, +3, +2, +1, it could +3, +2, +1, -1, with that -1 option giving a large penalty. Just my 2c ....
I, personally, love the Terrian style, but I also like SOME pieces from other styles, along with the DLC such as the dread lords, and the ship part packs that don't show up unless you show EVERY single piece (and then have a mile long list to contend with). In Galciv 2 there was a 'favorites' options, which is missing from this one. I would like it if when I make a custom race, if I could go through the entire list of parts and select which ones to use, and save that l
I've been having this issue as well. I was looking forward to making some new designs and whatnot.
First off, Great game so far, but here are the bugs i've noticed.... At least one cosmetic attachment causes ALL hardpoints to disappear, while at the same time not actually showing up. Some cosmetic attachment icon/previews don't match what the actual attachment looks like. Saving custom made attachment combos doesn't work right all the time. When I click on the pre-made combo to add to the ship, parts will be missing. With the design g
SO wait a second, Sensors and Engines play a role in defense/offense?? I can understand engines, but what role do sensors play?
Ok, i *WANT* to play the campaign. It seems interesting. But how the heck do you destroy the Dread Lord ship that comes in and just rips you and everyone else on the map to shreds? __ Ulfsark
