I would say ten is better. Or at least better that eight. I think vista is better than eight. edit I just found out that windows ten can't play DVD's for free.

I don't know why anyone would like windows 8.1 to my opinion it is worst than Vista. Strike 4 for windows on that one.

Having played since the beta I can say this bug was not always there. Talking programming this was probably caused when a value that was passed with sensors was changed. If I'm understanding things correctly. Sensors used to be a flat value, and unlimited range when you stack them. Only limited by hull size, and sensor size. Now they have a cap. Sensors may now work of a percent, not a flat value. Or this might have been caused when they wrote 1 gigabyte class to make su

I sometimes use colony ships for scouting, other times I use survey ships. Sometimes I will notice that the ai will forget to colonise the better planet in the solar system. Then I will colonise it. Then I get both planets, because of my government, and choices.

I had a similar problem with three. With two the icon was red if you couldn't colonise the planet. You could see it without highlighting the planet. Yellow if you couldn't fully colonise it, and green if you could without any penalty to production. That made it easier. In three the icons are different for each type of planet, which is not as good as before. I don't care about the type of planet only if it is colonisable or not.

I'm not really an expert in games, because after I found Galactic Civilizations 2 Dark Avatar I fased out other games. Most computer games I seen were in the last decade, but not made then. Probably the worst game I've seen was Spore so much wasted potential in the game. I'm going to have to say the worst game in the last decade is explorer craft it keeps crashing, and Everytime it crashes I lose its stuff. Now a game that went from my favorite to my worst was Ci

I only heard one bad thing about windows 10 people talked about over the years. That is you can't shut down windows sending about user reports to Microsoft. windows 10 does run smoother than windows 7, except in two areas. The start menu isnt labeled start. This doesn't sound like a big deal, unless your old, and like my dad he didn't know ibm computers. So when he turned on the computer, and went to start, and went to help, and support. He figured it out on his own this way. Th

Chinese democracy is the worst album guns and roses did. Axel what were you thinking when you fired the band. Just one in a string of retarded choices that this guy's makes. He just does what he wants he doesn't care about other people.

Well I play multiplayer, and like to see some luv there. I wouldn't mind 3d it would be another way to get around blocked expansion, but the problem is that due to physics if it's not solid it flatens. We only live in a 3d universe on the small scale. If the height of the universe is only 100au that is not very big. The rest is empty space. My guess is when this concept was figured out no one knew how flat the universe really was. I didn't realise this. Or most game desi

One thing they mentioned which would send me packing is that planets won't be self managed. I also don't like the idea of star lanes, but only half as much as not having manual planet building. Making galciv 3 better, and coming out with galciv 4 is what they are looking at. Adaptive AI is what they are looking at. They haven't talked about data driven since 2016.

Well I honestly would prefer the current system than the closed borders idea. After world war 2 the United States started flying b27's over the Soviet Union. Later u2's. Finally the Soviet Union shot down a u2. The United States said they had the right to fly spy planes for gathering information over someone else's air space. The Soviet Union was paranoid of war so were we. We continued to fly U2's over the Soviet Union, while the Soviet Union flew Mig 25's over us. So the United States, and

Hi Rap you do understand that influence is determined by your planets, and starrbases, not just your planets. Even, if it was just your planets they are not evenly spaced apart. Now as far as the fow I think it does it one space from the edge of you influence border. I've noticed this problem to.

Well I don't think the mechanic is broken, but I would agree that anything can be made better. Guantlet has some good ideas. Guantlet has agreed with me kindof. I wouldn't want to see an arbitrary invisible field where I can't pass without an open borders treaty kind of thing. You have a right to make that policy though. I like the map idea too. Isolationism is a real thing. It got the US industrialism in the early 1800's. Didn't work out for Libya when they tried it. I'd be ok wi

Well one of the worst ideas I've seen in games was when civilization changed the open borders treaty to not letting you enter someone's territory without war. It doesn't help endless space with this. They would do better getting rid of it. Closing borders without an open borders treaty hurts not helps games. I haven't learned to live with it. I have to learn to live with it with other games. This is one game mechanic I hope never comes to galactic civilizations. I guess this could be a game o
