I have played several time at maximum AI level with excessive maps. Whatever it will be with 5 or 8 Civs ruled by AI, the behavior is always the same: AI is building very quickly as many warships as possible, as well as constructor ships In turn, it does not build enough colony ship While looking at Civs power counter, AI is looking pretty quickly very powerful because of warships but it does not reflect its weaker economic power Afte

Long time ago, I played with a 4x game looking like a kind of Gal Civ ancestor. Unfortunately, I can't recall its name. In this game, in order to invade and conquer a planet, you had to build ground forces (tanks & troops) and load them into transport ships. Invading the planet and fight down there was the only way to conquer. Of course, tanks & troops had to be be trained. It was also possible to upgrade them such as battle ships in Gal Civ. They were gaining expe
[quote who="Horemvore" reply="15" id="3635485"] I updated to 1.71 opt-in today. Just started a new game after updating my mod to 1.71 code base. When colonizing planets you get the pop up to choose a name, sadly I am one of them people that names every single planet. There seems to be a niggly little bug with this, I rename the planet in the initial pop up:- It then takes me to the planet view. Where the name I entered has reverted back to the original planet nam

The wheel is gone. Nothing I can do about it I am afraid... But ability to set manufacturing production from Social to Shipyard production for a specific planet looks having gone too. I was using this to increase SY production, or to avoid the following: If I want to stop building something on a planet, the game just doesn't understand and ask me to do something on the planet before next turn... This will happen as well when all planet tiles will be used and upgraded I gue
Would be good if Dev's could consider the point and adjust accordingly. [e digicons][/e]
In Gal Civ II, it was possible to change your mind whilst a ship was into building phase. You just had to change the ship type and all the construction points used for the previous ship was transferred to build the next one. i.e : if you were building a Colony ship costing 100 points and you were changing your mind at 50% of building process for a Constructor Ship costing 120 points, the 50 points already used was transferred to the constructor ship. Thus, Constructor ship was
Hi, I just downloaded the game yesterday. I am a fan of Gal Civ II in which it is possible to change / adjust the level of Tax citizens will pay. The more they pay, the less happy they are and vice versa. I didn't find such an option in Gal Civ III. I surely missed something. Some help would be very appreciated. Thx
