We all have gotten pretty spoiled with 2-3 day shipping from most Etailers. I know that while I am certainly not upset, I am disappointed at the length of time orders are taking. I didn't pre-order, I placed my order 10 days ago, Tues the 5th, and I can't remember the last time an 'in stock' online order took 2 weeks to arrive. I bet Stardocks staff are pulling their hair out trying to get things moving faster. I've been with them for many many years, but for some, t

An option to change the FONT Im not sure how the font was chosen, but its hard to read. There comes a point where style gets in the way of function...and the FONT is an example of this. I notice we dont have to suffer with the same font here on the message board :)

One thing to remember is that strategy guides are a waste of time for a living breathing game like SINS. Gameplay will be tweaked and adjusted so that any printed guide will invariably get dated rather quickly. Just look at the changes from 1.01 to 1.02 with clarvoyance, guidance and gravity warhead to name a few. Sure, eventually a baseline will emerge, but by then we'll be looking to play SINS ][, ashes of an Empire or whatever. I do however feel that the tutorials w

I didn't at the time. I would think it would be a good idea if the Total Gaming section showed that Stardock Central had the full game and not just the beta. I delayed buying the game by a day because it looked like SDC was still only having ver 0.7 (the beta) Once I got the reg key for Sins, then it showed the full 1.01.12 version. On the plus side, I played chicken shoot while the thing downloaded :CONGRAT:

Will someone PLEASE make Brad the King of all that is software development or something. Why out of all of the game making companies in the world, do so few hold my ideals? Ive been a supporter of Stardock for many years, and I am constantly amazed at the customer focus that oozes out of every cubicle there. Even the drastic transition they made with total gaming dot net when they went from a subscription gives you everything to a tokens format was handled in such a way that I honestl

"Mobile bases of death that can destroy entire star systems" That sounds strangely familiar somehow. Anyway, I really like the was the new 'Bases of star death' are being done, but do have a question. Ive only built one (and that crashed the game due to the know bug at the time), so do they all look the same, or very similar, or are there big differences like the ships?

I'm a little confused about research starbases. I build one, and didnt see an change, so I upgraded it so it shows the base 4% and the upgrade 5% research bonus. Where can I see this effect on my empires research?

GalCiv is a space 4X game...yeah, I get that. What I think would add a lot to the game with a minimum of recoding (easy for me to say) is having the ground attacks for each race show a little diversity. Nothing overtly crazy, just have each races units, and jawa trasnports (thats what they look like to me) be unique looking. I know its a small part of the game, but Its been stagnant for far too long IMHO ;)

I've said it before, probably for at least 10 years. Adding 3D adds nothing to gameplay, but adds terribly to complexity and frustration. As has been said before, the only way to make 3d a do-able thing is to use 'space lanes'...and then what is the point of the 3d again? Look at it this way...there have been 3d interfaces for windows machines for a decade now....how many of you use one.

I say do what YOU think is best...however, if given my option, I say release it in January, this puts you in the position of being one of the only new games in January...and give you a shot at GAME OF THE YEAR 2008 ---- Mike James NewsCastLIVE.com (347)Bug-Mike

Ive seen a sudden influx of games on TGN that do not have any kind of demo for them. Even games that used to have demos are now devoid of demos. What is going on with this? I can only hope there are just some issues with the software, because its a much less attractive system if I have to 'buy blind' and hope the game does suck. Sure, demos can hurt bad games, but thats the point, if you dont give me a demo, Im going to assume the game sucks.
