I didn't check again, but right after the winning screen I exited a game and checked my stats: nothing :-( Oh, hello again. I guess we mean the same match :-D Edit: logged in just now, and my stats don't show the game :-(
-Empire search function for starbases added.
Thanks for that one :-) Could you also add the same for super weapons, please?
-Tooltips for mini pirate window added.
When pirates are inactive the bottom part isn't visible but stills blocks clicking on anything behind it. Also: the sell/buy buttons can be pressed together, if one clicks in the middle between them. Is that intentional?
I assume you mean beta 3? Did you uninstall before updating? They changed something major to make Entrenchment work alongside the basic game. Sins the last beta versions overrode files from the basic game a complete re-install is in order :-( https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/340287
Hejhej! http://www.wuala.com/!!QL/public/SoaSE/strange_starbase_scuttling.jpg The screenshot shows how many resources I would get back by scuttling a fully upgraded starbase. Is it supposed to be that much? For Advent and TEC starbases I never saw such high numbers, but thats probably because I hadn't upgraded them fully. And why is the credit figure red Great beta though! :-)
Zip the file up and send it
I noticed something else: when pirates are inactive, the bottom part of the mini underground window is hidden, but the space isn't "cleared". E.g. selecting anything behind it doesn't work.
OK, sorry, I didn't look at tha "By...". I should have known [e digicons][/e]
https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/336084 The editor can convert binary into text files (under Tools->ConvertDataGUI). You just give it the path to convertdata.exe in the Sins game folder. Make sure you don't edit the original files, copy them into C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Ironclad Games\SoaSE\Mods\MODNAME\GameInfo and convert/edit them there. :-)
There is also a GUI editor: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/336084 Be sure not to edit the file in the game folder, since you can't play online anymore.
Thanks! One personal question ;-D Do you still notice a 1 point increase of your karma?
And what about a 1.13 archive I made before installing Entrenchment?
I'm pretty sure it was just zooming in closer,
Yeah, the shining thing to it's right (medical direction ;-) ) is a whormwhole which also gets closer.
You can send the .dmp files to . They're located in C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Local Settings\Temp\Sins Dump and compress very well as zip files :-)
Thanks for the update! :-) But:
IMPORTANT: You MUST fully uninstall Sins of a Solar Empire & Entrenchment before updating to Beta 3!
So there will be no actual updating, but completely redownloading everything , right? Isn't there any way I can circumvent redownloading? [e digicons]8|[/e]
Cool, did that look like the Vasari Starbase was jumping into a grav well??? At the beginning. Or was it just zooming closer to it?
While you are thinking along these lines, note that in StarCraft II the Science Vessel is obsolete. Instead it is currently replaced by the Nighthawk http://starcraft.wikia.com/wiki/Nighthawk
[e digicons][/e] StarCraft 2 [e digicons]:dur:[/e]
@ Silveressa: Exaclty :-)
They look like they are blowing in the wind lol
Solar winds [e digicons][/e]
Your Hoshiko Mod made me laugh though. Nice :-)
To be honest, I find them too agressive for TEC. If I wanted to create my own sound mods, would I just need to record it, save it as .ogg and name it right? Or does it have to be ethe exact same lenght as the vanilla sound file???
I sometimes don't see the use of outsourceing basic stuff from a company, just because it might be cheaper. For computing, I like distributing work to all the company's PCs, workstations and some servers better than sending it off somewhere. That would be a more desktop-based approach, like BOINC :-) Using the allready existing resources better is more important than pushing another centralized outsourceing solution forward.
These are great ideas! :-)
Compress it and send the zip file to :-) @Ironclad: You should probably automate this process, or put instructions into the manual or somewhere easy to find.
Send them to . They compress very well, so put them into a zip file :-)
Hejhej! Fences. Is. Great. Installed it just today and won't give it back [e digicons]|-)[/e] Meaning, I'll probably buy it when it's ready. One thing that irked me is: icons in a fence with no name/label appear directly at the top border of this fence. It doesn't look very good, since there is quite a wide margin at the bottom. Please add an option to move the icons to the centre of a fence (same distance to all 4 borders). Thanks and Greetings! &n
