Hello. Maybe the question has been already posted, but I did not found the anwser. When a title has a "+1 to population" bonus, do you put a farm on it or a city? I don't understand where the bonus goes. Thank you!
Ha, ok... [e digicons]8C[/e]
Sorry, but as I didn't find an anwser yet, I take the chance to ask again. Is anyone know how to limit the zoom in? [e digicons]:'([/e]
The original wat to do it was : File: MapSizeDefs.xml Change: 100.0 to 2900.0 But, I used it and it didn't work. Is there somethinig different to do now? Thank you.
Hello, I have try. Those options make certain objects invisible, depending of the level of the zoom, this is not what I want. I would like the objects to always stay as icon and never fall into the more fancy graphic mode when I zoom in. PS. Sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker.
Hello, I would like to know if it is possible to limit the "zoom in", so I would not fall in the mode were the icones are transfert to more define images? If it is possible, would it help my graphic card in the bigger maps? Thank you. PS. I have made a post about it before: https://forums.galciv3.com/472407/page/1/#3614833 Would it be possible to add an option that made it? Ghislain Blais
Hello, I have a question : how do you succed to see everything on the map? I would really like to do that to! PS. Sorry for my English, I am not a native speaker. Ghislain
Ok, thank you!
Hello, I have the occasion to buy a screen with a resolution of 2,560x1,440... it is very large. But I did not know if the game can handle it. Will I have only a little windows on the corner or will it be "full screen"? Thank you.
I like the idea of keeping the same number of farms than the number of other labs/factories/wealth buildings. So, if the AI keep building less farms, it will fall behind.
Hello, Often, I put 4 farms on each planet. When I invade one, it has about 3 to 4 (I think). Would you mind tell me how much farms you put on your planets? Maybe I can do better!
Hello, My strategy is : One manufacturing plant on every planet. But two one those with a penalty (like "frozen"). I often dedicate my home world to making big ships. With a high population, a manufacturing capital and five manufacturing plans are enough. I tend to focus on having a high population on each planet, with as much farm as I can. And after, I ajust the wheel to meet my needs. I only put research or wealth facilities on title
Ok, thank you!
Hello, I'm sorry to bring up an old post, but does anyone know if the Unnerving trait has been fixed? Thank you.
Hello, You can limite the zoom in. For me, it helped a lot. https://forums.galciv3.com/472407/page/1/#3614833
Hello, I manage to figure out that each embassy is a +1 in diplomacy. Despite the fact that the little panel just show up to +3. I tried putting an embassy (and upgraded them to their next version) on 10 planets and almost everybody wanted to be my friend. It was to easy, so I build only 5 now.
I have found that building 5 embassies on my 5 firsts planets helps a lot to delay the first declaration of war. Sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker.
Other information: We must repeat the procedure every update.
Hello, I don't know, but this consersation tell you how to avoid completely the tactical mode: https://forums.galciv3.com/472407/page/1/#3611339 I asked because my computer had problem with the switch. I hope it help. P.S.: You must do the procedure almost every update. P.P.S. Sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker.
Once, I had a lot of tiny ships build before and that I do not want. Instead of searching them and decommisionning one by one, I "sold" them to a minor faction. I did not got a lot of money for them, but it was easy to spot them (they had a specific name) and it was just one click to offert them to the minor faction. I assume it would work for ships coming from a faction that surrender to me. Sorry for my English, I'm not a nat
Hello, You can build embassies. Like 10 or 12. In my current game (insane map, abundant planets), I have build 10 embassies and every factions I meet has been ally with me as soon as they can. I did not build a single ship with weapon. I will culture flip them... in the long run! Sorry for my English, I'm not a native speaker.
Just to add informations : we must start a new game to get the new zoom.
Thank you. I think I will try a game where I will almost just use the governor. At least, the game will be quick (saving time on planet management... or losing quickly)!
Hello, I like to set my games to insane maps, but with rare inhabitable planets. So, it end up like a 75 planets empire in the late game. I obviously use the governors to help me. But I think the governors put a lot of factories, if I totally let them go. I use to put like 2 factories on a level 10 planet, but the governor seem to think he needs a lot more. How much factories do you put on your planets? Do the economic and rec
