Just started trying to skin RightClicks. Can any one tell me how to 'size' the mouseover bar size? Have checked Wiki and StarDock, but the info is kind of sketchy... Thanks in advance for your help.
If I understand your question correctly you do have to keep a/the png file for the recycle bin as long as you want/have a space for it on the background. If you want to eliminate the icon from appearing on the background just 'move' (leftclick and drag) it out of the background and it will disappear. Otherwise you will have to change the icon by 'right clicking' on the recycle bin space and selecting 'dock entry properties' from the popup menu and selecting a new icon set.&nb

You have to save as a 4 color BMP format. Ain't gonna work otherwise. Hint: don't try an image with many colors. They'll just get washed out. And don't expect the image to be smooth unless you want to do a bunch of post-process work after it's been saved in the 4 color format 'cuz it's going to be pixelated. I use PhotoShop (V7 &V8) with no problem saving.

I'm a sucker for a dark vista-style (like Inspiration or Clear Vista by Butch123) WB. For an IP some thing that's easy to see, the old eyes not being what they once were, against most WP backgrounds - like LenaIP by cycoced, Plastic Fantastic by tiggz, or Delta by javier aroche. And for a cursor just about any of javier aroche's creations.

Mine is from way back in the bad ol' corporate days. When the company first computerized it's subsidiaries that's what I got stuck with for corp email. Had it for so many years I just decided to port it over for personal use (since it's long since been embedded in my memory) and ended up with it here. Not very creative I guess, but at my age you shouldn't expect too much - old dogs and all that... [e digicons]:grin:[/e]

I just checked Implulse today and it does show an update for Deskscapes as of 12/05. It no longer highlights the updates tab in red though. Now just breifly flashes an 'updates available' message during the login process and pops up an updates tab on the top bar to the left of the desktop tab. Easy to miss I think if you're not looking for it.
Well. color me stupid too.. Where do you find said RightClick Editor?
What's the best 'file rename' utility out there? Or what do you all use?
