Absolutely outstanding stuff. Just wish I had Vista so I could do more than just gaze from afar... :)

Or 8" surplus floppyies... Or... :) I remember when a friend of mine got the first PC harddrive in our area. Was from Radio Shack (don't remember the model), but it was a whole 5meg and cost a cool $5,000!!!

Thanks for the pick, ID! :HOT:
Been playing a bit and found that you can get 'magic pink' (or any other color) to go transparent in LogonStudio. The trick is to set the portion of the layout (Bitmap_112, for instance) as an 'indexed' file type in PhotoShop. Make up a 'colormap', click the 'sample' icon in the colormap window, and select the color from the colormap you want to be transparent, then save the file. I've tested it on several of mine and it does work. The downside is that in doin
FWIW, mainly because I've been attempting to find a solution to the same problem, I've did a little checking into some of the older LogOns and have found that back in the day 'magic pink' worked, Two that I found were XPHelium and VistaPlus (both by adni18) that appear to have "magic pink" as the color of the 'user account' panel. Neither of them work under the 'new' Logon Studio. Neither display properly under the new format and both show the color as pink not transpar
I think what he wants is to have Bitmap_112 basically 'float' so the main image will show thru so as to avoid all the cut and paste needed to make it appear as if it is transparent. I think... :)
Take a close look at Object Desktop. Don't know how I managed to survive without it... [e digicons][/e]
Stardock support sucks big time. The only thing I want from Stardock is a refund.Support is none existant and stupid.
Stardock support (as every other non-live on-line support) may be a little slow (simply due to email turn-around time), but I've gotten an answer to each and every question/problem I've ever posed to them in a very reasonable amount of time. And, to be honest, most of the problems I've experienced came down to either a hardware/
Oops, my bad! I think I finally figured out what my prob was. I've been processing stuff on a non-std screensize laptop (1200x800) and there's, apparently, an anomaly with Logon-Studio that translates the display on Logon-Studio to the size of the monitor you're working with rather than maintaining the default 1280x1024 res. Did some more checking and found the logons show properly with implemented even though the show as clipped in the logon-studio display.
Have a question. Have been working with Logons and can't seem to get the center panel to line up properly with the botton panel when I try to cut the panels out of an image. Top and Bottom panels are set to 1280x80 with the center being 1280x864. Center panel is set to fixed size; top and bottom set to stretch. Center will match up if set to stretch, but then does not display properly on application. Am using Photoshop for image processing. Saw a post here

Happy B'day ID!!! Be sure to keep the fire extinguisher handy when those candles all get lit.... :)
I'd looked there too..and..at the Adobe website. Just thought maybe some one knew a trick,,, Thanks for the input though. Really appreciate it.
Does any one know how (or is it possible) to change the color of the cursor/pointer in PhotoShop? Work a lot with dark backgrounds and the standard black cursor just gets lost... Thanks in advance for any suggestions...
Great look!!! Super clean!! [e digicons]5*[/e]
Thanks much....
Have an older Gateway laptop. The 'recycle bin' has been stuck on empty for a while. IOW, it will not change states - just shows an empty icon even when there are files in it. I know there has to be a simple fix to the problem and have checked on the XP help forums at MS, but with no luck. Am hoping one of you WhizKids out there can help. Running XP Home on it...
Can't offer a lot of advice. But would suggest, if you already haven't, to do an un/reinstall via Impulse and see if that doesn't help.
Been playing with LogonStudio and every time I attempt to change the UserIcon (even just go into 'edit' and make no change other than to 'save' the image) the skin immediately crashes with an 'unable to display - parse error'. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Tnx...
Very nice! Great job! [e digicons]5*[/e]
Many thanks everyone. Will be incorporating most of these in my new wallpapers. Will be a long time rendering on some, but worth the effort I think..well..OK, hope... [e digicons][/e]
