Multiple attacks per turn have been in for a while, I'm just pretty sure in Gal Civ 2 they did cost a movement point each, so that you could do skirmish lines, like you say. it does add to strategy, I could see a desperate attempt to get a transport past a tougher enemy fleet involving some very interesting set ups... but only if the attacks cost movement.

Photo: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59263671/Sentry%20button%20doesn%27t%20work.png I hit this button repeatedly in order to try to make this ship go to sentry mode, to stop bugging me about moving. Even though the button is lit up on the screen, it's didn't work. It's possible the ship was too close to enemy ships, so sentry wasn't

Hey, is this a bug, or working as intended? And if it is working as intended... I suggest changing it. I had a fleet of three little ships with about 7 movement, take out about 15 single ships in one turn (which is also because the AI didn't make many fleets, but that's another issue).

Hey, I think the title pretty much says it. I was up against the Drengin, I hadn't adjusted the difficulty or anything like that. They would launch their ships... and then they would sit there. Any ship that had combat values, I don't think I ever saw them move it. Colony ships, flagship, and scouts I believe all moved no problem. I saw them get a combat ship from an anomaly, it never moved.

Photo: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59263671/Why%20can%27t%20i%20command%20this%20fleet.png For some reason, for that little fleet of 2 ships, I could not bring up the Command Screen. On a related note, I don't think all the buttons on that screen work properly. I tried telling a transport that I had stacked with the fleet to "guard", so it would stop coming up as idle, and it didn't seem to want to work.

I would like to echo this question, I believe this is a bug, I had some pretty crazy high population amounts in some of my planets by the end of the game. Poor Mars was about as crowded as Tokyo I imagine...

I've posted some of mine (then had a computer issue), and yeah, I pay attention to A) an intelligent threat title, and B) I do a search for the error on the forums first, to make sure I'm not being redundant. and C, I prefer to give a detailed description of the error, it helps them find it and fix it I believe. I'm mostly taking that from when I helped with the elemental beta.

So I researched what I could have SWORN was the right couple of techs to allow me to use the arid land... and I couldn't. Then, a while later, because why not, I started researching Wetland Reclination and as soon as I began the research, all of a sudden I could use arid squares. Has anyone else noticed this, or was I just screwing something up?

Next bug! Not much point in a photo on this one.... Market center upgraded to a trade center no problem (hooray), but the trade center can't upgrade to a Colonial Bank (booo). I think that's about it (haven't check much else yet though).

link to photo: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59263671/Why%20%2B%201.png If you check the mousover tool-tip, it indicates that researching this piece of technology will increase the cost of shield manufacturing by 1 %.... error! I believe I saw this again on the slightly higher level shield tech, as well. That's as far as I made it.

Hey, if we could create a thread just about typos, I think that could be of use for the good employee's at Stardock. I only have one right now. 1) Under Enlightenment (the mouse-over tool tip), it read "often attracting of worlders", it should be off worlders.

Photo link https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/59263671/Blank%20background%20colony%20view%20error.png So, this colony had a blank background. I have no idea if exiting and re-entering the game would have fixed it, this happened in the second half of my play through.

Ditto, this is a very annoying one in my mind. I think they did this in Gal Civ 2 as well, I would really like it if this could be fixed, it breaks immersion when your ships autopilots are psychic.

Bug one of several: I had a tiny fleet of mine disappear from view once. I unfortunately did not think to take a screen shot of it ( I think this is the only bug in which I failed to take a screenshot). Details of the situation: The fleet was adjacent to an enemy planet (it had just blown up all the ships next to the planet, because why not). My transport which took the planet came through the same hex that the fleet was in. I don't kno

Hello community, so I have played through one game and I have taken about 20 screenshots of various things I have noticed. My question is this: out of the 20 pictures, I think I have bout half a dozen separate issues that need to be fixed (some obvious, a couple of them not so much). Would the good employes at Stardock prefer if I make a separate post for each issue, or make one pretty darn big post about all of them? My default thought is to make sepa

The above PDF seemed kinda funny to me, it was only pictures, no words. Is it not loading right, or is that what the author was going for? (the pics did point out some things that could use improvement, I just feel like I had an error of some sort). Thanks! Also, isn't that more hijacking? Start your own thread :P This poor OP has barely gotten any responses to his thought-out feedback!

Anyone notice that the details you get about a marker form clicking a hex are often different than the details you get when mousing over the tiny icon? Also, ditto the OP's post, it was kinda confusing, though I suspect it was a nice time saver to get the feature in.

Um, I don't think Stardock would be considered an indie company anymore... I know they aren't HUGE, but they recently mentioned having 7 games being developed at once, if I recall correctly. That's a bit beyond the scope of indie.

To the OP, I think the crazy economic model you mentioned would be the opposite of fun for most people. Other than that (and your formatting being painful to read), there are some pretty good suggestions there. If I wasn't stuck in a display error, i would be making feedback with you.... maybe I can find a fix soon. ( not looking for trouble shooting, just being a crybaby for a moment). Good luck, and keep the feedback coming!

Alright, well, nothing fixed it, so time for bed... Not sure how I could report this or not. Maybe I need to update my video card driver, for all I know, but it's too late to look into that now.... I can always try my desktop and see how that works, too.... i want to give feedback on lots of things, not just one graphical glitch!

Also getting the same error, I encountered the "hang up" on the font selection, I got past it by Ctrl+Alt+Delete-ing, I simply opened the task manger and suddenly my computer realized that the font option was frozen and I told the computer to close it... could this by why all the words aren't working right? Update, my search for the gc3_font_setup just found it, inside of my steam files. Maybe that will fix it, if not, reboot time....

On topic, I wanted to say I like the idea of being able to micro-manage each planet. Having a couple of defaults to be able to put a planet to (empire default, science default, etc, etc) would be a nice bonus, but if I have to do it planet by planet (for planets that I don't want at the global, empire wide default), I'm cool with that. Being able to type in and lock a value would help a lot, as well, so if I wanted wealth at 25 %, I could lock that, and then adjust s
