Hello, I'm currently playing them also and that is what I determined. I believe you have to research techs that give you the buildings to build on the core worlds.

I have a question about orbital academies, how many can I build in my civilization? I know they can only be built on core worlds but in my current game I built 3 and went to destroy one to put on another core world but I could not find the option to build another one. What am i missing?

Hi all, I have 2 questions. 1 -does the leader with the gambler trait ( -40% income ) go into effect when it is recruited or when it is assigned as a governor? 2-is there a way to obsolete old ship designs quicker using the key binding option? It can take a long time after turn 250 in a long game every time I start up the current game. Thanks in advance for any input on this. FYI, I also asked this on Discord so sorry for being repetitive.
Did your opponent complete their war aims? Otherwise, can you provide a save file?
I don't know what their war aims would possibly be. They declared on me but were out of range for a long time. Just when I arrived and killed a few of their ships is when I got that "situation report"). Sorry, I don't have a save file for you. I just moved on and started a new game.

Why would this screen come up for me to have no option but to accept peace (that I did not start). The screen said: "Our war with (faction) has not gone well. Meddling or helpful, depending on our point of view, diplomats have negotiated a cease fire on your behalf." At bottom of screen I had to choose "Accept the terms." I did not want to accept the terms. I ended loosing the game to a prestige victory. I was at war with the faction and just reached their borders with b

I am playing the Intueri and was carefully scouting with my probe different civilizations who settled close to each other to be able to reveal 2 different civ planets that have not been revealed. I finally found 2 that were not revealed and were different civs meaning I was expecting to steal 2 different techs from them using the Cosmic Eye trait they have. After using the trait and revealing the 2 different planets, I just stole 1 tech from one civ. Was really hoping I would have stole 1 fro

I have 6 plagued citizens on a planet. I don't recall that many having that trait earlier. Is this trait spreading?? Should I imprison them? Can a tech cure them? Not sure how to deal with this. Can someone enlighten me on this? Thanks...

I just have one for now but I'll probably get a lot of grief for it but here goes, I think the probe should not be immune to the space monsters. That is the reality of exploring space and it's dangers it holds. I like cautiously approaching a new star system and trying to avoid the dangerous monsters that might be guarding it or a slipstream or resources. I noticed many of them have 2 sensor range and I might get away with them killing my probe if they don't move my way during the next turn.

I also have the same issues as gypsy2299 has stated. Being 3 years younger I have a hard time seeing grid along with the highlighted background "sky." Love this game but is getting harder to navigate space with the lighted background in some areas. Will hopefully wait for possible changes that are more easier on older eyes.
