Got to Builder III, then got Support Field Mastery. No module for +2 range. There's supposed to be a module right?

1. Memory error on Insane by about 50 turns in - and now it has a popup and just CTDs when you click it. 2. Habitable planets set to abundant and there are almost no planets to colonize. I found one star with seven dead worlds around it.

Heh that's an interesting point, Longdead. I wouldn't want the movement speed changed though, it seems to me that in a war the AI should be grouping up its ships sooner so that you have to take on entire fleets rather than just sniping all the one offs. That seems like the glaring error to me - all these little ships with 7 move seeing all their friends getting mowed down and the AI just has them continuing on to their distant waypoint, not trying to group them up to mount

@pshaw - I'll submit a ticket, but the news is worse now. It's just started happening in the middle of an ongoing game, without reloading. Really ticked off this time because this is a beautiful map! ugh. About 110 turns in this time. Pretty funny. Reloaded a game i'm 144 turns into, playing Iridium Corp. Colonized a few white planets - precursor events only. Normally I'd play the hell out of this except the selections that interest me are almost always malevolent and it's like the first game in ages where i'm doing bene/prag. Never too late for a change of tune i guess.

Oh, fantastic. I just discovered that the Drengin are not on my diplomacy page. I guess it didn't make sense that I should have met them by turn 50, their homeworld is way over on the far side of this Insane map, but still. Weird

Any luck on this? Oh, crap, June 18th post. I was hoping it was older. Yeah i get this all the time, and it gets worse on insane as you clear the fog. Zooming all the way out seems to make it somewhat better, but it's pretty hard to play when everything's just a couple pixels big. I suppose I'd better post a support ticket too, even though surely they have hundreds of them at this point.

How do I adjust the frequency with which a planet gets assigned a trait? I see I can adjust trait distribution with the "weight" parameter, which I assume needs to sum to 100 (?), but how do I increase the rate at which planets get assigned one of these traits? I can't seem to find that anywhere. It seems like something that might be in MapSetupDefs but I guess not... Thanks yall Edit: FO

So when I hit Request Constructor from a starbase, it queues up a thing called "Basic Build" (as Yor anyway). This is an absolutely minimal constructor with, as far as I can find, no alterable blueprint, which just automagically appears and forces itself upon me like a box of stale male genitalia.
