I agree the snakey thing looks weird but honestly if it's one "bug" that never gets fixed I'm not going to be particularly concerned. And who knows? Maybe in the 2200s (if we're that developed) spaceships will move like that. Maybe they could add something like how your battleship crew have developed spaceshipsickness from zigzagging across to the Drengin planets and can someone else protect the transports please while we barf?...

I've just noticed a crash to desktop every time I try to Manage my Starport. I'm on Turn 450, medium map. I've got 5 Paladins (playing as Terran, in a one-on-one against the Drengin). Everything else seems hunky dory. The thing is, I get this CTD also when I try to delete that starport's sponsors so I can transfer them to another one (I thought I could just transfer my ship builders to another starport but nope.) If I leave the starport alone churning out more Paladins then it

Could be a bug, could be the way things are set up but: I'm playing as the Terrans and have attacked the Drengin to my opposite left and have in fact killed them off - they have no planets, the one starport and a couple of ships left alive have gone white. I know I could go off and kill the Alterians but I'd like to be done with the Drengin first. It now appears I can't kill them or seize control of them. Obviously no major problem as I can just skirt by them, igno

Add me to the "Tough Titty" list. I'll assume that you're extremely good at 4X and, yep, playing Galactic Civilizations 3 right now is beans supremo. You know how to work the research, how to get Planetary Invasion the quickest way possible and look, after 50-60 turns you've won the game. Good for you. Not being such a kickass 4Xer, I spent too much time farting around with the early research so it took me a while to get Planetary Invasion (I researched Dip

androshalfor, I like like like that idea... I mean, I'm playing the game anyway but it'd be the cherry on top for me if something like this was implemented. Rigging UP votes would also be interesting...IE Spies knowing that in, say 15 turns there will be a vote on sharing resources from a newly discovered asteroid field/bunch of destroyed planets and we heavy the Drengin to vote that our civilization gets the lion's share of the resources and offer nice t

Yeah, espionage's problem for me was when I'd spend money and time getting spies and placing them, and then ending up getting to share a certain number of research items with other races anyway - which is, IIRC, after a UI vote. I wasn't sure also how effective the "steal a technology" gig was, either - that is, your spies actually doing what they're paid for as opposed to the Random Event. What I'd really like to see with the espionage is an ability to undermine r
