Slande i was hoping it was something like that. I will look again at the stats of ships nearby it prior to a battle, and see if the numbers jump when engaged... or i'll look at the fleet stats just prior to entering the coverage area of a military base and see if they jump then too. The bonus application must be "silent" as I was looking for a quick message or something or even animation on the "quick battle"... how cool would it be to see a big zap or missile come from the base [
El Buitre
Frogboy i was "blind" to any other govern button as soon as I saw the one on the planet screen. i will look for it next time i am able to get on.
Naselus thanks much man! great breakdown. Nope i played MOO and GC1,2 and i just never looked up for a govern button when i first saw it on a planet screen. When i ran out of gold the very first time I simply was tired and didn't notice, shrugs. So since I was convinced that the govern planet screen was the only one, i was unable to get my game out of N/A hell.
What do military starbases actually do? If a fleet or planet of mine is attacked in the military starbases area it doesnt do anything to help.
I never noticed a global wheel at the top of the man screen. Huh. So it adjusts your whole civ? I still want individual planet sliders to make specific planets. I will try the 1 factory all farms thing and jack up the happiness research
Thanks Naselus!
asking a questing and venting frustration at lack of common sense is troll? Hmmm ok here's troll... may your next game be awesome and you think you are doing great, then before you can notice you go below 0 money. Good luck with that.... research and shipyards N/A and nothing you can do to change it back. However this problem has been fixed thanks to Naselus. reply prediction " i wouldn't be so dumb like you to let my empire go below 0 gold in the first place". You win.
Thanks so much. It was as if people were not reading my question really.
As of right now there are no sliders in my Govern Planet screen... That just baffles me. thimon2k where the option of putting sliders back in the game? What a dumb move, taking them out.
And now of course the game is freezing between turns, superlag trying to just close this piece is junk game
Screw this, deleting my great game wtf man taking sliders out of the game wtf were they thinking
And thank you. I am just so frustrated
I have built.multiple farms on my olanets, i cant get and research going, just N/A... i just hate this, in the planet screen i cant drag allocation, i can only click which focus and all of it moves from research or manufacturing, like all of it. I am so frustrated about having my shipyards and research all N/A
Oh i see farms increase pop cap, i thought it just increased birthrates and since i was capped i didnt see the use. I dont know if that will help me though, to have no military manufacturing and no science at all? All N/A? This is dumb. I am building mad farms and trading everything i have just to get more science
I have never built farms, i see no reason why. I dont see a demographic that centers on farming, amount of food...like when i can sort by anything, its never food amount, there are no tool-tips that show any food amount or production. My populations are all at the max and approval is at 100% i just dont get it
Ok now i put all of my colonies into manufacturing governance. Now the only shipyards that build are the ones sponsored by planets that are manufacturing Military Subsidies. So i tried all planets under balanced governance and now i have no research, my time to reseach anything is N/A something is not right here....
Well i got my economy well into the positive financially and the manufacturing section on the planet show still 100% social manufacturing and 0% military. and my shipyards are all N/A on completion timers. There must be a way to pull production allocation out of social and back to military, since now i have around 5k credits / money now.
thats really dumb of them. So if i go negative on my income, i can never get military production back until i build a a planetary project? lame!
Hi my economy went negative on money so my shipyards went N/A because manufacturing went all social. I want to put manufacturing back into military and i understand there is a slider somewhere, but it is not in my Govern Planet screen. There I can only select 4 types of governors on the left, and 3 planet options on the right, as well as Rename Planet, set as capital, and destroy planet. Help me get production back to military. Thanks!
incredible news, this makes the game top notch now. I love playing MOO2 thanks to gog.com and love the hire-able leader aspect so much i still play it.
omg no way that would make these games THE best ever. I loved the champion aspect of MOO2
I loved finding heroes / captains / scientists / administrators for hire in Master of Orion 2. Please tell me GC3 included this!!!! Thanks
