I would also accept the concept of a new (old) kind of hyperdrive system that cannot actually enter hyperdrive essentially creating a one way corridor to the target destination. Once combat has ended they could be picked up by a civilian carrier.

shouldent support roles be higher on the prioirity list? personally i hink the healers/ buffers should be killed off first then dps then tanks
do they have a transport module installed?
i thought there was a way you could do it but you would have to trust the other players not to cheat
If by expansion you mean like a dlc then no it wont be like that it will probobly be out in 1.5 or 1.6 for some reason i think it will be with commanders but im not sure on that there should be a list somewhere that has it
Long story short the old system was broken , there are plans for a new system Not sure when but they remeoved it in the mean time

i like most of these ideas but a couple of questions can i join more than one U.P could i be in the benevolent and the pragmatic up? can there be more than 1 pragmatic up? was it the drengin? were they the genius ai? the drengin from what ive heard tend to be more military focused which is where a lot of power ranking comes from. combine that with the bonus's a genius level ai gets and the recent improvements to ai that might account for it
Wow this sounds awesome. Watching my capital ships go after drones while ignoring carriers totally made me cry. Such blatantly failed design. However since the player has control over the designation of the ship, whats to prevent me from making attack ships and labeling them as Support (so they dont get attacked first), and having some tanky ships that arent full defense but still more heavily defended and labeling them as attack ships? Or do
Huge ships that cover 2 or 4 tiles. there is no point to this. Tiles are somewhat variable in size its in the Lore somewhere at one end a tile is about 1AU and at the other several light years across. Even on the small scale building a ship that measures 2-4 AU would be a massive undertaking equivalent to building a dyson sphere and if you can build one of them youve already won the game. That being said i would not be opposed to a city sized super ship with
On galaxy setup screen there is a difficulty setting ( i dont know if they ever moved it to opponents setup)
I think it wasent really greed but min-maxing imo this type of game attracts players who are good at getting the most they can out of a system in this case the best result was from holding off on terraforming until the last possible tech then terraforming.
sorry androshalforc, the Snathi have always been squirrels. They were cuter in GCII, but still undoubtedly squirrels.
well i thought of them as teddy bears and IMO thats how their going to stay :P
androshalforc, I do not know what you are talking about. Snathi are clearly much closer to squirrels than they are to teddy bears. Your pictures only support this conclusion.
the current snathi i agree look more like squirrels but the gc2 snathi looked much more like teddy bears. gc2 already had a race of squirrel like creatures (with 2 heads). the old snathi look nothing like them
The Snathi tech-tree isn't necessary for the Scavenge ability other than making it better, right? As in, if I am using a different tech tree, I get the ability on it's base level, but cannot upgrade it? It's a bit important to know. I have had a lot of fun designing factions around the shipstyle, colors, techtree and ability as they make factions even more diverse. Some people might have an issue with the Snathi fo
