A more fair option on ranbom events instead of favoring evil neutral good or evil options
I agree, nearly every moral choice in game favored evil races usually providing soldiering bonus's moral bonus's or cash while neutral choices tended to have a lesser buff and cash cost , and good choices tended to have no benefit but a massive cost I'm not saying they should all balance out but there should be some choices that benefit good aligned play

so i had 2 ideas for tech trees the first was convergent techs 1 tech that can have 2 or more requirements to be met before it becomes available example hydroponics bays on star-ships increase range of ship, and morale of troops on ship requires [ life support I ], [ farms I ] multiple arc-types of tech trees I envision 3. In Galciv II there is really 1 tech tree throughout the game with each race having its own flavor some races have racial techs, some don&#39
Quoting Nikioko, reply 11 Oh no. I hoped so much that the map would be 3D this time that I would have accepted both cube boxes or truncated octahedra. But it is once again 2D. This is not Civilization which is bound to a planet's surface. This is a game set in open space and therefore there is a third dimension. The Universe does not have 3 dimensions, nor does it have only 4, it has 10 or&
Quoting chaverinou, reply 23If there is concurrency between players it's no longer a turn base strategy This is nonsense. It is still a turn based strategy. If it comes down to who can click the fastest to get a particular goal, or making the difference between the loss of a fleet and a crippling blow to your enemy, then I consider that as a strategical mistake on your part
If there are still going to be bonus tiles on planets, I have to say that it would be nice to be able to see them (and whether they have an appropriate improvement sited) without cycling through every single planet.
I hope they can get the tiles named uniformly this tile gives an approval bonus of X% yet the rest of the game calls it morale took me several play-throughs before I could determine if a

I had a list for starbases on the GCII forums some of the ideas included partial build ques- a constructor was necessary for Battle Stations I but BS II-V could be upgraded by the starbase taking a portion of nearby trade routes/planetary production value some form of ranged attack - what good was investing in an all powerful starbase if I just ignored it some form of barrier - if i go to war with a race my controlled starbases should be able to block ships of

while the concept of a 3d map is cool and ill admit I've thought about it from time to time i think it would be completely impractical in any form of UI and would probably need some kind of 3d interface like the occulus rift or holograms it might be able to work in the small scale such as a battle viewer or combat tactical map
