Hi Derek, one easy way to do it is to capture a minor faction planet, destroy their central bank or other unique building if present, it then shows up in the building queue again even if already built by your own faction. The game seems to think you just destroyed your own. The same applies to Tech and Manufacturing capitals as well as other "unique" buildings. It is one of the main reason I invade minors now. Same applies to major factions, just tougher to do at game start. I know its an exp

Quick feedback on some early issues using 3.04. Immense map, abundant/abundant/abundant, 14 civs. 64 GB RAM, I7-7820x, GTX 1080 Ti, Game and OS run from separate Samsung 960 EVO SSD. The ability to build multiple "unique" buildings is back. I now have three central banks on my main finance planet for example. The Thalan are using the Galactic president ship as an exploration ship. It just visited my area from the other side of the map.
Hey gauntlet, just noticed a few bugs and i am not sure if they are game related (3.04) or related to your mods. I am running 8.5 full. Before I post to the main feedback thread i wanted to check with you: The ability to build multiple "unique" buildings is back. I now have three import/export centers and central banks on my main finance planet for example. The Thalan are using the Galactic president ship as an exploration ship. It just visited my area from the other sid
I do not have a non crusade mod folder in "My Games" just a GC3Crusades folder so that cannot be it. I uninstalled everything before reinstalling and updating, yep. In the MercenaryTiers Def xml I found this: MercenaryTier4 Hired Help Cheap and common mercs looking for a payday. 4 <p
Everything is exactly the same except for cost. Picture, text and bonuses are identical. I reinstalled GC3 to ensure all was back to vanilla before putting in the mod since I had Horemvore's mod in there from my last play through. I will re-download your mod and see if there is a file difference in the GRM-M folder. BTW, I killed off the survey ships with extreme speeds and put in your update for the anomaly folder, that made a huge difference so pretty sure that was it. Thank
lyssailcor, that would make sense. If all 10 civilization have 3 survey ships with over 80 move points that would definitely be impactful. edit: I found one survey ship with a speed of 320 and two others with 120, if the other civs are similar that definitely explains the lag and slowdown :-) Gauntlet, forgot to add, I also have multiple versions of the same mercenaries in the Bazaar but at different price points. For example the Merc that colonizes with 25% more pop and an added bonu
Thank you for the quick reply. I will replace the folder. Having survey ships with 80 movement points and 50,000 credits was cool but kind of made the economic side of things irrelevant. Got all my starbases upgraded to the max though :-)
Gauntlet, really enjoying your mod. Question, did you do anything that would peg the graphic card at 80% utilization or is that the underlying GC3 engine? I have a GTX 1080Ti coupled with 64Gb of DDR4 RAM and an i7 7820x so i was pretty sure I had the horsepower to run this even on an immense map with 10 of your civilizations but I am still getting stuttering and the game crashed once already, I am at turn 230. Not sure what the hang was about but it happened in the designer which seems to be
Horemvore, I can appreciate your frustration, we all get there once in a while and I totally understand that the work is yours to do with as you please. My concern is that by having removed your excellent mods from this forum (I did notice the link in your post above, thanks) you are punishing the fans of your work and the people who believe your mods make the game more enjoyable and better, you are not punishing the devs you believe wronged you. As I said, it is your work, your call what you
Frogboy, why obsess on what specific features to include and keep beating this horse to death? I played over 1000 hours of GC3 and what kept me coming back and kept my interest is the efforts of the community, Horemvore, Gauntlet, Gen pants etc .. to tweak the game in ways the developers could not due to time/budget constraints. What's missing? A real modding system that is easy for players to implement via Steam workshop as opposed to Nexus. I just clocked 400 hours on Stellari
No issue under 2.6 so far
Mod breaks under 2.5 opt in. Screens are missing fonts and game CTD after initiating a game. Tried without the mod and all is well. A couple files must have changed. Not sure if you will update for the opt in or just wait for the full release, really enjoying the change, breathes new life into the game.
Try Horemvore's Galactic star trek Mod, best one ever built for GalCiv. You can find it in these pages.
They certainly do apply to ongoing games and it is absolutely game changing on immense and above maps. First rate job on this!!
OK thanks, I can definitely confirm that they still have the buff even with only two planets left at a distance of 206 from "the artifact" and me having taken control of their capital and all other planets in the vicinity as well as putting the artifact in my zone of influence. Time to eradicate all of their planets and see what happens. One other small bug that keeps coming up concerns surveying defended artifacts. During the AI turn, my survey fleets with move points left
Horemvore, game works fine since the last change. One question, did you do anything to the mega event "the artifact"? The Cardassians got it early in the game so I captured their planets closest to it to eliminate the threat. However, even down to a couple planets quite a distance away they seem to still get the buff. They keep getting back to number one in construction and finance. Have the rules around this one changed? Use to be that just eliminating their planets closest to it and p
Will do, was worth a try just in case.

Crash as soon a turn shifts to AI. I have tried to get passed a certain point put game keeps crashing every time I click "turn". I saved just before the crash, here is the debug.err entry from the "game loaded message", cannot find anything there. Debug Message: Game Loaded. Debug Message: TachyonSystem: Attempting to send match report Debug Message: TachyonSystem: Did not send match report due to CollectGameplayData option Debug Message
The last update did something to the Thalan. In my game they just gained an impossible amount of raw construction in two giant leaps. I thought it may be another empire surrendering but they went from around 2000 points to over 10000 by absorbing a smaller empire than their own. Weird
As a short follow up to previous post, using the stop watch function on my phone I measured three intervals of 1:44, 1:52 and 1:41 from hitting "turn" to the point where i can interact again right after the "wait". May not seem long but at 1 minute 45 seconds per interval, 60 turns will take over 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting around just for the AI to complete.
Quick feedback on 2.3 opt-in. Performance is better in some ways, same in others. The windows for research, salvage and treasure hunt results pop up much faster and I can click on "done" significantly faster than before. Noticeable improvement there. The turn itself however feels the same and it still takes quite a bit of time compared to earlier versions of the game. Since the start part of dealing with the hunt results windows is faster however, the whole process has definitely improve
