Larsenex, You got only half your story right, you need to site sources or people won't believe you. Electronic Arts acquires Stardock Corporation for 300 million plus stock options. First off I'd like to say thanks to those that have expressed their appreciation for me keeping this list up to date. :) No new updates until after patch 1 is released... Added... Notes to those errors that may be fixed with Beta 5 patch 1. Added... By trumpete
The saved game issue I've noticed when you press enter in the save screen versus clicking save. When I pressed enter it generated a saved game example (~save) versus pressing the save button gives (save).
You don't like the music? If you don't like the music turn it off and play something you do like in the background? I'll note the Mark of the Sovereign in the list of known errors but, it may be acting as intended..
I find myself holding off the terraforming techs until I have researched all of them. This is greatly different from Galciv II which I used them as soon as I could. Of course I also find myself holding off on the ideology boost until the colonization stage of the game is complete, or near complete as well. There should be a way to see what each level terraforming will unlock before choosing, say yellow outlined tiles are first level, orange bordered tiles second level, red
AuraBoy, I've also noticed beta 5 crawling for me, however using 20 AI players and all minor races, this could be how it handles the AI or the other races moves at this point, most turns for me have been taking 20-30 seconds after I finish my turn for my next turn to start. I haven't played though with few AI players, hopefully they are still working on speeding this up as of right now this would make a 100 player game take forever and not because of your game pl
My main question is in the Databanks part of the website it shows major races unaccounted for. The Arcean Empire is here and states that they are still around after the war but are no longer a major race. Wouldn't it make sense then for the Arcean's to be a minor race in Galactic Civilizations III?? Just a question to Stardock hoping that they would still be present in the game release...
Another issue I've found with custom races... I captured the Icon/Planet flicker/vibration in this video. This to me appears to the flicker/flutter that the screens all do in Beta 5, except it appear that it does this to the map galaxy anytime you move the screen. https://plays.tv/video/55199ca646a01c8ac5 No race portrat in the upper right hand corner, this appears t

I would recommend to help fix the issues that you submit various tickets on your crashes. Link to forums for explanation: https://forums.galciv3.com/452855/page/1/ Link to support tool: http://sd.stardock.com/Support/supportToolTest/SDSupportTool.exe Oh! Here is the location for dmp
kin3tix, I was the host, and the game was crashing throughout various parts on both sides either him or myself. It was just us two playing against 6 AI players (although I would love the option to have many more AI players.) We would get various peer disconnected errors or complete crashing. Sometimes the game would lock as it was switching between turns for a minute or two and then continue. When exiting the game to menu, it would either crash the ga
Ships repair overtime, there is no quick repair option at this point.
Here are a few more issues I've come across. Playing game with 20 players with the insane map size is taking 20-30 seconds between turns, only 30+ turns into the game. I hate to imagine how long it will take with 100 players 300 turns plus into the game. What software package/program do you use, also in the race directory files they are listed as png yet png files in general don't work Thanks.
Although I've posted in the ver80 feedback thread about this^ as well the chat window bottom reply is still not visible and at one point I had to restart my computer to get the game going as Steam wasn't starting the game and unlike our previous multplayer thread where the game was crashing around turn 120+ this game was crashing virtually every turn from the start and we only got to turn 41 after 2.5hrs of playing. First off Multi-player needs love... Here are several issues I've noticed to this point... Game constantly crashes, to the point where you may have to close steam to get the game to relaunch. Max AI players is set to 6 (this may be max players set to 8 human or AI) However, AI should be like single player allowing many AI. Exiting to menu from multi-player game exited the game completely out. Other iss
Okay retested and this seems to work with all scrolling issues, you must move your mouse over the scroll bar then you can use your scroll wheel on the mouse, clicking on the scroll bar or trying to move the mouse wheel when anywhere else on the screen fails.
That's what I've found for now. Not sure if any of these can/should be submitted as a ticket...
I would recommend creating a ticket especially for the vibrating ship/planet issue, if you could try to get a video capture of this and send stardock the link in the ticket. That is what they asked for when I sent a ticket in for in in Beta 4. Moved... Vibrating ships... By <span style="co

Yeah not working.... I got it to work by exiting and enabling it in the text document
I would create a support ticket on this issue. For support where examining saves is required, names of ships, planets and starbases, etc, are extremely helpful in their attempts to reproduce the issue. First off thanks Stardock for unlocking custom races. Because of the scrolling bug though, we are not able to play games with 100 players at this time. The most that I can get is 11 because you can not scroll down on the player screen.
